The Wall of Sins
Faron grew up haunted and fascinated by the tale of The Wall of Sins—a story whispered to children as a warning against wickedness. According to legend, God punished humanity’s sins with natural disasters and unleashed the Forsaken, three cursed tribes bent on annihilation. Only the intervention of the Pure One, a sinless man, saved humanity, sealing the Forsaken behind an impenetrable wall.
But the wall is real, and so are the Forsaken.
When Faron unknowingly commits the last sin, the Wall of Sins crumbles, unleashing the vengeful tribes upon the world. Though no one knows he is the one responsible, Faron feels the weight of guilt pressing down on him. Desperate to protect his family and lover from the wrath of the Forsaken, he joins the Flag Bearers, humanity’s last line of defense. Among their ranks is the legendary Black Flag, a fierce and unyielding fighting force tasked with defending what remains of humanity.
As Faron battles the Forsaken, he uncovers dark truths buried beneath centuries of myth. The world is not as it seems, and neither are the humans he is fighting to save. Secrets about the Pure One, the Forsaken, and the nature of humanity itself force Faron to question everything he has ever believed.
In a tale of survival, sacrifice, and shifting loyalties, Faron must confront the sins of the past, his own culpability, and the future of a species on the brink of extinction. Will he cling to his faith in humanity, or will the truth he uncovers lead him to a devastating choice?
