"Dad! Dad! Wake up."
"What is it? Is someone missing?"
"No. Everyones still asleep but can you follow me please? Be quiet."
"Hopper, where are you taking me?"
"When Jesus walked this earth and someone came up to Him to talk about a troubling issue He did not wait until the next day or even days later but addressed the issue as soon as He could. If He knew He wouldn't make it there or if it was out of His path of travels He would say, "Do you believe in me?" And if they answered with yes then He would heal the person right then and there. Didn't matter where the person was at; sleeping, awake, busy, or just sitting around He would show up and direct the issue then and there."
"Yes, but remember His brother Lazarus? His mom told Him to come and heal His brother because he was sick and dying but Jesus not only waited until his brother was dead but weeks later when the wrap tigthens as close to the body as possible. That's when he showed up. What? He will come at the speed of light to help someone He doesn't know but when it comes to his family matters He'll take his sweet time to answer their call. That was not the only time He took his sweet time on them either."
"Woo dad. What happened to you while you slept? You're starting to sound like me and that's scary but you do bring up a good point.
How well do you know your brother? Aaron came to me in a dream just now talking about how I needed to be ready when the time comes. He also told me that you were dying and needed me more than ever although you were too afraid to admit it. How was he able to tell you were dying?"
"What else did he tell you?"
"It's not what he said. It's more of what he didn't...say! Leviathan, come back up here for a sec. I want to talk to you."
"What does the Leviathan have to do with this?"
"Why don't you ask him yourself. When I showed him this staff and said I was of the family of Aaron he instantly recognized that name and said he is known by all. Now how is one frog able to talk through people's minds, always know when someone gets in trouble and gives them a Bible no matter where they are; and also be known by all the creatures and monsters of the Bible? What aren't you telling me?"
"Son, first off I can't talk to the Leviathan cause I can't understand him nor him me and I'll tell you why. I've been asking myself that same thing over and over again. The reason I always got into trouble so much was because I kept on getting strange leads from people saying they say my brother doing some "un humane" things and things outside the realm of human knowledge, So I investigated everytime but once I got close I would get into danger and had to flee home. One of the reasons why my brother kept giving me Bibles after I came back from one of the missions was because it was his way of telling me to stay out. Then when I found a gift like a small stuffed animal and such stuff at the end of maps it was him saying I want to keep you safe so please dont investigate me. If you try to find out about me it will be too dangerous and I don't want that for you. Did I ever listen to him? As you can see I didn't.
When I robbed the bank that day; my friends were there for the money but I was there for far better. I got a tip from a source that the thing I had been searching for was finally spotted. Hidden behind one of the fake walls in the safe was a Bible. After all my years I had finally tracked it down and was going to retrieve it. You can have faith in God and have confidence that He'll do what He promises but sometimes it feels like He answers prayers slowly. With this Bible all you had to do was flip in the Bible to the page you wanted; touch it, then believe any character, object or anything on that page to come to life and it would.
So my true intentions of being a pastor wasn't to lead at all. My intentions were to study every person, animal, creature, monster, crevice and thing in the Bibleso when I found the Bible I would be able to know where specifically to turn in the Bible to summon whatever and whomever I chose. I saw my brother had one of those Bibles with him at all times and knew.
