Zach snaps from his flashback when he sees Leah coming out from the clinic.
"How is she?" he asked.
"We did our best, now she's on the process of transformation into Noctacian."
Zach sighs, "Thank you, Leah."
"Just take a rest, we will notify you if something happens. You need some rest after donating so much blood."
Zach nods and walks to his house. Despite his worry about Dane, he can't stay there any longer. There's nothing left he can do besides praying. The man fall down on his bed and passed out due to lack of blood.
A few hours later, Zach wakes up with a terrible feeling all over his body. He knows this is the consequences of losing too much blood. He goes to the bathroom and takes a bath. After changing his clothes, he finally opens his phone and looks at his message. As he expected, Faust, Raven and Hashi are back and looking for him. He doesn't know if they managed to take the book from the Master. But hopefully, they did.
