Such event like what happened with the woman and her daughter is happening everywhere the Strigoi passed. Screams, wails, people runs in panic, and the blood spilled on the ground. The army continues their journey with their number increasing in scary amount. By the time the police come, they already left the place. Leaving only the bloody remain.
Of course, Black Eagle doesn't care. As long as they didn't find them on the crime place, they'll think that it was some crazy murderer doing. As they got nearer to their destination, they begin to meet some resistance. It was a Noctacian and his soul-bond. Black Eagle licks his lips, eager to fight the first Noctacian he meet after being transformed.
He gives order to other Strigoi to attack the Noctacian together. At first, the Noctacian is able to fend their attack. But as he's alone, he can't stop all the incoming attack. One of the attack got pass his defense and land on his soul-bond.
