Raven stared intently at her father's figure. The man was teaching Raven how to hunt. They hunt foxes as well as deer to train.
"One more time," his father said as he watched Raven squashes her target deer.
"You have to be able to catch the game whole, not crush their flesh," he added.
"Yes, Father," Raven said in a languid tone.
This was the fifth time the man had sent Raven back hunting. Raven has greater strength compared to other children. This makes it difficult for her to control the power she uses in hunting. Raven squints her eyes and stays still in a standby position.
The girl's eyes fell on a deer behind the trees. With a swift movement, Raven lunged at the deer using her claws. This time she used the least amount of strength to slash the beast's head. Blood spurted as the deer's head and neck split in two. But Raven did not pay attention to this, she looked at his father.
"Good job," Raven's father said.
