"No matter what we breed, we still are made of greed." – Demon, Imagine Dragons.

Faust looked at his mother who was sitting on a chair at the dining table. Like any other afternoon, her mother sat looking out the window as if waiting for someone to arrive. In front of him is a cup of black coffee without sugar with steam still rising, waiting for guests who will not come. Fifteen year old Faust knew very well that his mother would not drink the coffee. The coffee would eventually turn cold and end up in his stomach.
Every afternoon was always spent by his mother in the same habit, making a cup of coffee and looking out of the table. Faust never complained when he had to finish those cold coffees, he just felt sad to see his mother waiting for someone who never came.
"He's not going to come, mom," Faust said.
Her mother was silent as she continued to stare out the window.
