Chereads / MY BEAST EMPEROR SYSTEM / Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Lucien Raizen

Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Lucien Raizen

Legend has it that Emperor Fei was once a young and vibrant youth with the power of flames at his beck and call. His mastery over the fire element was so immense that he clashed with the Dragon emperor on numerous occasions and even then he never conceded defeat even once. As the direct descendants of the Phoenix God beast, the Hayato family step forward and battled the entire inhabitants of the northern part of the continent. During the long war, the Hayato family showcased the strength of their God Beast and overwhelmed their enemies.

They gathered the descendants of various God beasts of different tiers throughout their journey and wars and united them under one banner. These families were the Drax family, Raizen family, and the Luno family. With all of them from mid-tier God beasts it was natural they submitted to the Hayato family who are direct descendants of the Phoenix God beast.

United these families faced off against the greatest mages and fighters of the region in a long and bitter battle and even though they lacked numbers, they made up for their little numbers with pure quality.

In the battle, a member of the Raizen family, which is a wind God beast, specializing in the lightning and wind element held his own against a small army of twenty mages, killing more than half of the enemy forces before succumbing to his wounds and dying.

Overwhelmed by the strength of the enemy, the humans had no other choice but to surrender. Their greatest fighters were inferior to powerful beast men with inhuman physical capabilities and yet they still possessed powerful magic. Even their high and mighty sorcerers were forced to fall on their knees in submission and beg for their lives.

With this, the Fotià empire was formed. The first settlement that harbored humans and beast-men under one banner. During that period more battles were fought at the other regions of the continent and two more empires were formed. One was led by the Dragon Emperor and the other kingdom was quite different. This time, the beast-men population of that region was wiped out entirely and an empire for only humans was formed. This empire was created by Basten Slade, the young genius who was blessed with time magic.

.............

Over the centuries, many have died due to age but the three great emperors remained. Like the Phoenix, Emperor Fei was reborn each time his current body had reached its limit. After every century, Emperor Fei would undergo the reborn ceremony, where his body is consumed by the Phoenix flames and when it died down, the Emperor steps out of the flames in a youthful body, full of vigor and power.

The Dragon Emperor and his descendants on the other hand were blessed with an insane life span, allowing him to live for close to four centuries now, but he still looked like a man in his early thirties.

And finally the human Emperor, Slade simply stopped his time. He has watched his great-grandchildren grow into fine men, serve the empire well and die, yet he remains. At this point, his people serve him as a God and he was nicknamed the Immortal Human Emperor.

"Don't hold back on me" Lucien said with a prideful smile on his face.

Just like any other teenager his age, Lucien was about

174cm tall (5'7ft). Alongside his stunning silver-colored hair which gave away his affinity to Wind and lightning just like any other members of the Raizen family. He had pointy, blade shapes elf-like ears and his eyes lacked pupils and Iris, leaving only the white Sclera which made the youth look extremely intimidating amongst his peers.

The Raizen family was one of the leading noble families of the Fotià families and as a member of the main branch, Lucien's pride as a beast-man could barely be hidden on the few occasions when he conversed with humans.

Even though the emperor had tried on multiple occasions to breach the gap between the humans and beast-men, probably hoping to create an empire where beast men and humans can live in harmony, the beast-men have never been the humble types and the humans were never the forgiving type either.

Although there have never been clashes between the two parties, solely due to the presence of the emperor, the human nobles were never on the same page with the beast-men nobles. Most of the competitive activities in the Fotià academy pit the beast-men against their human counterparts.

"Hahaha... You may be one of the members of the Raizen Family but we humans are not to be underestimated!" Brian laughed as he picked up a short stick and waited for Lucien to attack.

"Huh?"

Lucien couldn't help but feel insulted. In this forest, there were many sticks of greater size and Lucien even brought with him a dagger for Brian to make use of but he refused all and insisted on using this small stick.

"Amongst the humans, you lack the blessings of the elements and you dare stand against me with a little stick? We may be friends but I find this extremely insulting!" Lucien slowly walked towards his human friend with furrowed eyebrows. His fair skin, alongside his silver hair and eyes, gave him a menacing aura around him which could make Brian shiver.

Brian's family was also part of the human families lucky enough to be granted the title and privileges of a noble. While they lacked the bloodline of mages, they have produced extraordinary fighters with terrifying capabilities over the years and this is the reason why the other human nobles never looked down on this family, but for someone Like Lucien, these families were no different from mere powerless humans.

"If you want to make me use a dagger against you have to make me... I have to test your hands and know how skilled you are first" Brian wasn't going to stand back and watch Lucien talk down on humans.

"BRIAN LUCARDO!" Lucien growled angrily.

CAAAAAAAWWWWWWWW!

A loud bird cry resonated from Lucien even though he didn't speak and a faint image of a silver mighty bird appeared behind him!

"I dare you to repeat those words!" Lucien said with an indifferent look on his face.
