"So? Where's Caroline?"
It's Jeremy, the Beta is suddenly confused because she can't find Caroline anywhere. Until he heard from some of the werewolves who were there that Caroline was with Daylen.
But when he got to Daylen's place there was only the young Alpha man himself without Caroline. Did the Werewolf see wrong? Or did Caroline meet Daylen earlier and then leave again?
I don't know he wasn't sure, because Daylen also laughed at things he didn't know at all. Was there something funny that the young man laughed strangely like now? I don't know, I don't know, and Jeremy can only hold back his annoyance at being ignored by the young man.
"Are you sure you don't know?" said Daylen suddenly taking Jeremy by surprise.
"If I had known, then I would never have asked you!?"
