"Do you expect us to 'take Drummand' with you?"
Jaki is not happy about the turn of events, I laugh at the scowl he is wearing while he is eyeballing me.
"I don't care what you do Jaki, riches, and glory are waiting for you once Drummand is mine."
Jaki cleans off the blade of the spear, and with a flash from his semeru hands me back the wand.
"Keep your riches and glory, I'll keep my life."
I 'tsk' giving him a lazy brown eyed side glance.
"I'll do that, and what a life it is."
Taking the redwood wand I feel his energy coursing through it, with one pulse and a ripple of energy, I get rid of Jaki's lingering mana and it is ready to channel my energy.
If I tried to take a shot with his energy still in it, it would just create a rippling effect.
"Drummand is already on its last leg, I don't doubt they will surrender once I arrive."
Taking a glance a the curled-up priestess I roll my eyes at her mental and emotional state.
