"Ugh, I feel like I was hit by a truck; but I also feel stronger somehow." Groaned Imogen while feeling her drowsiness lessen.
"I've gotten a good amount bigger and I have eight legs instead of six now, sweet." Appraised Imogen as she wriggled her new legs.
"I guess I should check my status now, system; could you show me my status please." Asked Imogen while watching her status get brought up.

"For some reason, I feel like the gods are cursing me right now; even though I have no reason to think that." Ruminated Imogen while questioning her sanity.
"Well I guess it's time to get off this fat cat and explore this world, maybe I could find some creatures that'll talk." Mumbled Imogen as she pulled her head out, and went flying into a tree; because she underestimated her strength.

"I really want to murder that mortal, right, fucking; NOW!" Raged Josh while staring at a single planet in the galaxy called The Strait Of Cosmos.
"Me too, I can't believe she ruined our bet." Concurred Alice while vigorously shaking her head up and down.
"She shouldn't have been able to live that long, it's impossible according to every test that has been done." Added Bella who was reading a book which told the life expectancy of reincarnated mortals.
"Hey Bella, could you give her a curse or something that would make her die faster; pleeease." Begged Alice as she looked at Bella with a pleading face.
"Nope, reincarnating her took most of my True Mana."
"Well then, could you teach me how to put on curses and such?" Questioned Josh while stepping in front of Alice.
"Nope, you're too stupid; it would take way too long." Retorted Bella as she looked around in a foul mood.
"Say that again Bella, I fucking dare you!" Snarled Josh while glaring at Bella with unneeded savagery.
"You're too stupid to learn anything quickly, so I say we wait a bit longer; the mortal's sure to die soon." Reasoned Bella as Josh tackled her and started screaming.
"I'm not stupid you dumb bitch; I'm going to fuck you up like never before." Cried Josh while striking Bella's face with fists filled with fury.

"What are these trees made out of, I didn't even scratch it!" Cried Imogen as she fell down the tree.
"Or am I just so weak that I can't even leave a single mark on a tree, it's a hard choice." Debated Imogen while shaking her head in indecision.
"I need to gain more power, I can't even break a tree with how weak I am; so I'm going to butcher everything in this forest until I get that power!" Avowed Imogen as she started on her trek to Denair knows where.
~~~
"Something tells me that I'm going to get eaten by a bird, or really anything of that sort when I'm not looking." Mumbled Imogen while doing the tick equivalent of crouching, and praying for one's life; but naught came.
*Suggested Action: Kill something
"Well that message was extremely delayed, I hope you burn in hell system." Screeched Imogen as she looked around feeling quite peeved.
"I should check the requirements for my next Stage Progression, I don't really like bumbling about without much of a purpose; so make yourself useful, system and tell me my Stage Progression requirements." Commanded Imogen while sitting down, and awaiting a box of text to appear.
*Stage Requirements Nymph - Adult: Consume the blood of a creature that has blood of higher quality than your own.
"But I already did that fifteen times, every last animal I've taken blood from has had it of much higher quality than mine." Griped Imogen as she looked around in displeasure.
"So the gods gave me a faulty system, what a joke; I guess I'll continue on until I find something to latch onto." Grumbled Imogen while stomping over the ground, and looking around for prey.
*System Clarification: 'bloodline'
"Still a little off with those messages system, but I'm happy you clarified it." Rejoiced an irked Imogen as she stopped to catch her bearings.
"Well time to find a really powerful creature, drink its blood; and get the hell out of this forest." Mused Imogen while prancing around full of hope.
"Wait a minute, is that a human, no it's three humans, actually; it's a whole group of them." Speculated Imogen indecisively as she turned to run over to the group.
"Wait, I just remembered that I can't talk; and even if I could they'd probably just kill me with those pointy swords dangling about their sides." Acknowledged Imogen while looking at the humans with vanquished hope.
"I should just let them do whatever they came here to do, I don't want to die today." Muttered Imogen, of which had already started turning around.
"Wait!" "They're coming this way, I need to hide; or they might see me!" Exclaimed Imogen as she felt the feelings of both excitement, and terror well up inside of her.
"The old man said we had to kill all four children of the lesser wyrm before they evolve, and cause havoc to this peaceful area right." Confirmed Jacobsen while looking down at the map in his hands.
"That's correct Jacob, why did you ask such a ridiculous question." Inquired Isabella as she snatched the map out of his hands.
"Well, we've killed three of them already; and the fourth one wasn't in the area, so I thought that maybe I heard wrong." Answered Jacobsen while pulling the map back into his hands.
"You did not, and what that means is, we're going to comb this entire fucking forest until we find it; you got that Jacob." Stated Isabella slowly as she held her hand out for the map.
"But monsters never leave a fifty meter radius of where they're born, so it can't be anywhere else." Retorted Jacobsen while reluctantly handing over the map.
"They do, but usually only when they reach their second evolution, which it didn't." Admitted Isabella, her confidence wavering; and on the brink of shattering completely.
"How did it leave then if it wasn't on it's second evolution, it had to have broken out somehow." Asked Jacobsen as he wiped the sweat off his brow.
"I don't know Jacob, I just don't know." Claimed Isabella sorrowfully while pointing to the left.
~~~
"Okay good, apparently they just stopped, and turned this way to talk; but I'm certain that it wasn't English." Declared Imogen as she watched the mysterious humans take their leave.
"Should I follow them, ehh no; that sounds too boring." Decided Imogen while thinking of heading the opposite way the humans went.
"I'm going to look for something with a high quality bloodline for now, nothing much else I can do." Coughed Imogen as she went off in another different direction, probably going in a circle at this point.

Imogen has walked for a couple of hours now, and so far, there's been no creatures of interest in sight; well until now that is. Imogen had actually managed to find herself facing a very big looking spider, or should it be said that it's big compared to her.
"That's one of the ugliest spiders I've ever seen, and it's going to eat me isn't it!" Cried Imogen while sounding as though she had already lost the fight.
"Well it would if I didn't kill it first and drink its... fake blood first?" Questioned Imogen as she pulled up the Wikipe- I mean as she remembered her teacher mentioning that fact in science class.
Anyways, the spider makes the first move, and goes in for a close range bite. Imogen rolls out of the way in the nick of time and tries to bite the spider back.
The spider leisurely leans her head back, making Imogen miss her bite. This entices the spider to shoot a web at Imogen, hitting; and completely immobilizing her.
"I'm so dead right now, why does a spider have to eat me of all things!" Despaired Imogen while the spider leans in to pierce the foolish tick with its fangs.
The spider bit down viciously, but only to have one of its fangs break off; this sudden act of pain provoked the spider to start screeching loudly. This gave Imogen the time she needed to chew off the webs covering her.
When the spider calmed, and looked down at Imogen, she could've sworn she saw a face filled with pure terror.
This standstill was broken when Imogen charged at the spider with renewed confidence, the spider, fearing for it's life, ran away... straight into a wall. With the spider in a very vulnerable position, this gave Imogen the chance to jump on the spider; and drink the blood of a bloodsucker.
So after thirteen whole minutes of torture, the spider couldn't take it any more, and gave up; it curled it's legs up as it felt death's pleasant release pull it into the aether.
*System Notification: You've kill a Titanous Brown Forest Spider - you have leveled up and as this is your first kill, you can pick from three different skills.
*Titanous Size: Triple your body size for three minutes. (Has a day-long cool down.)
*Sticky Legs: Your legs stick to everything, but you move at half the speed you normally would.
*Fast Eyes: Your eyes are extremely sensitive to movement.
"Sticky Legs is a no go, I already can kind of stick to things with my legs, plus I have Weak Pierce; and that does the same thing pretty much." Surmised Imogen as she looked to her next choice.
"So it's between Fast Eyes, and Titanous Size. Titanous Size would be fun, but it doesn't give me any immediate use; so I'd say I have to pick Fast Eyes." Ascertained Imogen while checking one last time to make sure.
"System, I pick Fast Eyes." Announced Imogen as all a sudden her eyes started melting.
Imogen screeched like never before, and wished for the sweet release of death more than she ever had before. But just as quickly as they liquified, they were replaced; leaving only the memory of soul wrenching pain.
"That hurt... so much, could you TELL me next time before you start melting my body parts!" Snapped Imogen while looking around with rage clouding her vision.
"Well I don't know if it was worth it or not, but my vision does seem a lot clearer; so that's a plus." Snarled Imogen as she stared around unhappily.
"You know, when I staged progress before the system, you warned me that it'd hurt; why didn't you now." Accused Imogen while pointing her leg in many different directions.
"Not going to answer, I thought so; you never answer anything you don't want to." Smirked Imogen as she failed miserably at flipping the air off.
"Well I'm dead tired, I guess I could rest here for now; it looks pretty safe." Yawned Imogen while looking around one last time before closing her eyes, and falling asleep.
