After she prepared all that she need it`s already noon time, we have few hours to spare, and rather than going out, we just sit there and read some books she have, I was curious on the books she`s reading so I look at the one and smile.
"Mastery of Elemental?" I asked it`s one of the book in the library, I remember the person who made this, she`s a powerful elemental spirit a good friend of mine when we are in the Three Worlds, one of those nomads, she`s good at elements and all her learning is in this book, of course I already exclude her forbidden magic, that shit is too dangerous for the others to learn. "What about it?" She asked and I smile and close the book.
"Do you believed me if I said the one who make this book is ones just a housewife?" I asked and she look at the book I am tapping and shook her head. "Of course not." She said and I smile.
"She`s ones an ordinary housewife, your typical housewife with one children and a loving husband, they live in the forest enjoying everything that forest can offer, one day she leave the house and go to the town to buy things for them a typical day for any housewife, but ones she got back, what she sees shock her whole self." I said then Icy close what she is reading and look me in the eyes.
"She saw her family, her husband laying in pool of blood, her only children headless, those bandits killed them, then she ran away as fast as she could to call for help, but she realize that no one want to bother with her plea, in the next morning she go home again, bury then and swore to herself never to help anyone, by chance she saw a book about magic inside her home, it become her foundation, she knew that no one would help her but herself, she focus her mind and her very being to magic, she become a witch and by a faithful day those bandits come, but this time, the weak house wife that everyone think is long buried along the side of her love ones." I said and smile.
"Ones she killed the bandits, rather than letting them go, she put a curse on their soul, to die again and again in the most cruel way, after she exact her vengeance, she look at the town, the town who don`t bother her, and seal their faith also, that day, that whole town turn to a lively town to an undead town, since that day the ones weak housewife is known as the soul witch! The Witch who toy the soul of the damn, heroes after heroes try to subdue the witch of soul, but no one can, by chance we encounter each other, we fought for a very long period of time, and soon convince her to join my cost, she agreed and since that day she become a very powerful assistant of mine." I said and throw her the book.
"What happen next?" She asked and I smile and look outside. "A story for another day, it`s time." I said and she hide the book. "Can I meet the author? Where is she? I want to befriend her." Icy said but I shook my head.
"I don`t know, maybe one day we will meet her." I said the saddest party of that story is something I`ll keep to myself, the Soul Witch is a very good friend of mine, although the other deem her as ruthless, I deem her as a loving mother, a wife and a friend, she`s perfect in many way.
"All the book in the library has their own hidden tales from their authors, you have no idea what those author do in their life to gather all those and made a book, it`s their legacy, so if by chance a book is damage call me or the other." I said and she smile and hug on of the book. "Books of untold story... I`ll remember that." She said and I nod I look at the little pup and look at the little book in his neck and rub his head, it`s the other copy the little pup made from the same book she gift to the baby.
"Not only your magic stored in that book little pup, your memory on how you made it is stored." I said and he nod. "One day, I`ll complete this book and put it also in the library, so even if I die, my own story will be there hidden by my magic." He said and I laugh and hop on his back.
"I know that book about time and space will be one of the best book in the library." I said and Icy also hop and smirk. "I`ll learn for now, and one day my story will be there in a form of magic book for the other dragons to read and learn." Then she suddenly stop and look me.
"Is a book made by you in there?" She asked but I shook my head. "No, my magic is a compilation of all the knowledge there, If I made a book, I am sure it`s unworthy to be line there... I could think I am just the librarian or a book keeper, I am just a person who take care of those books." I said and they both nod and the little pup fly away.
"It`s night time already, the moon is quite round right now." Icy said and I smile and look at the moon and soon look at where we are going and when we are near the entrance we descend and everyone is looking at us, their face show different emotion, some show amazement, fascination and awe, but the other show dread, fear and horror.
"Little pup, pull out your aura." I said when we are been circled by the soldiers but before they could question us someone step forward to stop them. "Don`t even think about harming my dead guest, it`s been so long Lady Ice." He said happily and Icy smile and nod.
"Yes, it`s really been so long, how are you Greed?" Icy said and they shake hands and he look at me. "Who is this new friend of yours?" He asked and I just nod not answering the question.
"His the person I am talking about the other week, his Sauron, but few humans specially the Nolan Empire called him Lord Guardian." Icy said and we shook hands. "I am Greed, the Demon Lord who rule this Domain, it`s nice to meet you, Lord Guardian Sauron." He said and I smile.
"It`s also nice to meet you Demon Lord Greed." I said and we break our handshake and he look at the little pup his suppose to try to rub it`s head but it`s transformed to his demi-human form, he look so wild with his messy hair and wild looking eyes not to mention his canine and his open button shirt.
"Oh, it`s a demi-human, that was shocking." Greed said and laugh, his suppose to handshake with the Little Pup, but the Little Pup glare at him and ready to make a ruckus. "Please don`t be angry at my little friend here, he live in the forest for all his life, and he don`t like stranger that much." I said smiling and Greed just laugh it off and nod.
"No worry, no worry, I am not angry or anything, everyone can enter my party. Please come in!" He said and the three of us nod and Icy and him start talking in front of us while they lead us, me and the little pup look around, when we are inside we see a place where the party is everything, people dancing, talking and laughing, a very typical place for rich people to hang around.
"This is greed city, where the party never stop!" Icy said to me and Greed smile and nod. "If a party ends here you just need to walk a few blocks and you will see new party, the Greed City offers everything! Everything here has a price!" Greed said and I smile and nod.
"I think I`ll look around tomorrow." I said and Icy give me a glass of wine and put her hand to my shoulder and we look at the people coming and start having party, I`ll look and saw how happy they all are, but I know this kind of life, in my time as a hero, there was a time that party never stop! we saw debauchery can reach, but that was a long ago, so I shook my head and show my wine glass to Icy.
"Then let`s have a party!" I said and Icy`s smile widen and tap my shoulder and look to Greed. "Greed, send all your wine in your cellar! This night will not end without everyone getting drunk!" Icy said and Greed look at her and smile and nod, in just a single whistle from Greed all the waiters and waitresses start moving much faster and we saw a wine tower appearing.
"So who`s gonna do the honor this time to get the first bottle of wine?" Greed said and look at the two of us, I smile and took away Icy`s hand then I jump and take the bottle at the top. "Let`s all get drunk!" I said and pop the first wine and drink it all then I put down the bottle and everyone scream so do I!
"That is some drinking! I never see anyone can drink a whole bottle straight for a very long time... Well if you exclude me and Icy, there is no one, now your the other one!" Greed said and I smile and look how people start drinking too like there is no tomorrow, but yes, everyone is using glass except me, Icy and Greed who is holding bottle on our hands.
"Then we are the strong drinkers! Cheers!" I said and the three of us cheers the bottle and drink it all straight ones again and we scream again, that was smooth, but compare to the wine made by the dryad? This is absolutely nothing, like water!
