The cool wind blew her loose strands in the air and a flush was present in her rosy cheeks as her mind had deviated to something else other than her surroundings.
Her head was in the moment when the heat had almost reached a point of surrender between her and the werewolf who seemed to have captured her attention since the first time she laid her eyes on him.
The intensity of his gaze, his tight grip on her waist, and the fire and desire that erupted from his eyes and burned deep into her skin and made her heartbeat increase a mile.
She never knew how one could be so obsessed with wanting to be with another.
Ever since that day, the Princess had been in her head daydreaming, night dreaming and even noon dreaming of what it could be to get just a taste from the werewolf's glossy lips.
Just. One. Taste.
She was eager, hungry to have a taste from him and her body have been ignited each time her naughty head thought of such.
Her between his strong arms, his body enclosing in hers. The burning desire inside her is being satisfied.
Oh, Sacred Blood!
She wished to have him!
Lukel...
That was his name,
So masculine, so pretty.
She has never seen a name as outstanding as that.
She wished to call his name all night long.
Oops! The Princess had diverted her thoughts from reality again.
She snapped out of her thoughts and focused her gaze on what was happening before her.
She was standing next to the Emperor and Empress as they waited in front of the castle to welcome the guest in.
The sun shining down was a notable amount of heat and the air was warm and fuzzy.
The Princess had been dressed in a glamourous baby blue gown that flowed down her length with its beauty.
A matching hat was placed on her head to shield her delicate face from the sun's rays.
Because Princess Divale had promised her father, the Emperor, that she would visit all the suitors, she was compelled to do so for the last two days.
She visited Earl Maneder and Lord Derke as well but it was nothing more than a stay-greet-smile-and-leave visit.
She spent less than an hour there before she left. After all, there was no werewolf there for her to spend time with.
And the Princess eagerly longed to see the werewolf once more, he had been in her head day, night, and all hours long.
Lukel, Lukel! She desperately needed to see him!
But her head was at rest because she knew she would be able to see him today.
"Are you sure you are ready for this, my love?" The Empress leaned down and whispered to her daughter.
"Of course, I am, Mother. Don't worry," the Princess smiled.
"As you say," the Empress sighed.
Just in time, a carriage rode into the grounds of the castle and stopped right before the royal family.
"Pleasant morning, Your Majesty" Lord Derke got down from the carriage and bowed to the King and Queen.
And they returned his greeting with a smile and nod of their heads.
"Pleasant morning, Your Highness" he smiled at her.
"Pleased to see you once more, Lord Derke" the Princess curtsied.
But inside her head, she rolled her eyes.
~Greedy arse!~
She could basically smell the greediness from him each time she talks to him. He doesn't try to hide the fact that he is only after the power he would gain after getting married to her.
"I want to express my gratitude once more to Your Majesty. Thank you for entrusting the Princess with me even for just some hours" Lord Derke bowed.
"It's nothing. We put her in your care and we hope you don't break it" the Emperor smiled and patted his shoulder.
"Of course not," Lord Derke bowed his head humbly.
"Hey, kiddo" Prince Kelle nudged the Princess.
"If it isn't my greatest brother," she snorted.
"Funny. I can see how excited you are to go on a date with your lover" the Prince snickered.
"Ha, very funny. We all know what this is about" Princess Divale rolled her eyes.
"Doesn't change the fact that it's still a date" Prince Kelle poked her side.
"Wait till it's your turn to get married, I'm going to pay back all the teases" Princess Divale huffed.
"You know that's never going to happen" Prince Kelle changed his tone.
After it was announced that the Prince wasn't a fan of females, he was banned by his father, Emperor Terre, from the entire kingdom.
The shame and disappointment the Emperor felt were too much for him to bear which was why despite the pleas from Empress Topal, the Emperor still banished the young Prince from his rights and family.
But after some years, when his anger had cooled down, the Prince was brought back to the castle and he was made to make a vow that under no circumstances, would he ever give in to his sexual desires.
That he was to remain celibate till his last breath.
"Never say never, Brother" the Princess patted his shoulder before she walked forward.
"Take care of yourself, darling" the Empress kissed the Princess's forehead before she got into the carriage with Lord Derke.
"So, Princess, are you excited about the date?" Lord Derke smiled.
"As excited as I can ever be," the Princess gave him a grimace which he took as a smile.
~Note the sarcasm!~ she huffed inside her head.
As they got to the park, Lord Derke helped the Princess out of the carriage with a help of his hand but what made her infuriated is that he didn't let go of her hand.
The Princess was tempted to step on his foot for him to let go of her hand.
"So, My Princess, it's been almost a week now that you have been hanging out with the suitors" Lord Derke started as they walked down the park.
"Yes, it has" the Princess gritted.
~the arse was still holding onto her hands!~
"So, I'm sure you must have already made up your mind for the future king so why all these games?"
"Pardon?" The Princess frowned.
"I mean, come on, I've seen the way you look at me and your actions towards me speaks a lot, you can just confess it all now," Lord Derke moved closer.
"Lord Derke, whatever hogwash you are spewing, I have no idea. Please, maintain the distance" the Princess put her hand forth for him to stay behind.
He then laughed out loud which made Princess Divale frown deeper.
~Has he gone nutcrack?!~
"How cute, playing hard to get. You don't need to shy away from me, love, I will never push you away" he said as he moved closer.
Just as he was about to place his hands on her waist, a group of masked vampires came out of nowhere and pointed their swords at them.
"What the-" Lord Derke widened his eyes in alert.
"Get the Princess!" One of them yelled before they all lunged to attack.
