"Why are you following me?" a voice from behind the Princess demanded.
Princess Divale slowly turned around to face whoever was behind her.
When she laid her jade-green eyes on it, it was like the whole world stopped for a brief moment and all she could see, all she could comprehend was what stood in front of her.
A male,
A slave,
In other words, a werewolf.
He should be around 6 feet and five inches tall with his broad shoulders and muscled upper part in full display because male slaves weren't allowed to wear shirts to show their status in society.
His black loose strands were messy and in disorder, yet, that made him look even more breathtaking, he had a sharp jawline with cut edges and a face of a God.
The most striking feature of his was his honey-colored orbs that shone against the moonlight. They had the power to make someone transfixed in their position.
Just the way the Princess stood, gaping at him.
He was just like a cursed beast.
The Princess couldn't say a word, her eyes were wide open and her mouth followed in suit as though she was in a spell.
"I asked you a question, why are you following me?" His deep voice rumbled across the air and fell heavily on the Princess's ears.
"I...Um...Uh-" she was babbling.
"What do you want?" the werewolf asked with a sneer.
"N-nothing, I-I..." she stuttered.
What was wrong with her? For the first time in her life, the Princess was left speechless instead of the other way round.
The beast standing in front of her had a way of making her feel on edge.
Not quite right yet not that bad either.
"Can't you speak? What do you want from me?" the werewolf took a step forward and the Princess took a step back.
"I-I don't...I saw you a-at the h-hall...I mean-" a single comprehensible sentence couldn't come out of her mouth.
It was silent for a moment before the werewolf scoffed lowly under his breath.
"You're scared, huh? Are you scared I will eat you up?" he took a step forward.
She moved a step back.
"Or tear you apart?" he took another step.
She moved back as her chest started to rise and fall drastically.
There was a devilish vibe to his tone that made the Princess terrified.
"S-stay back!" she barked in a petite voice.
"Why? You were the one who came to me in the first place" he snorted lowly.
"I-I...N-no!" the Princess shrieked.
"Shhh! Calm down, it will be quick and fast" the werewolf grinned menacingly as he moved forward one more time.
This time, the Princess took a few steps back rapidly, unknowingly to her that there was no more space left in the balcony.
Then as though pushed by an unknown force, her weight was pulled back and she felt herself going off the balcony and flying in the air.
She had no time to think because before she knew it, her legs were standing in nothing but thin air.
But before she could fall, she felt a grip on her wrist which held her up. Her legs were dangling in the air.
Just one wrong move and then BOOM!
To the ground, she would fall and if she did survive, it would be a miracle.
The Princess looked up and saw who was holding her up.
It was the werewolf who caught her before she could land on the floor. His huge hand was tightly grabbing her wrist.
But on his face was a confused or rather flustered expression.
As though, he didn't know what he was doing. As though, he just made a mistake that should have never occurred.
"Please don't let go!" the Princess shrieked.
>>>>>>>>>>
Hehe, how was the heart attack?
I hope it didn't make you collapse or something.
So we have finally met our Cursed Beast!!!!
Ah!!!!
Who's screaming with me?! :)
So what are your thoughts on him? Although I didn't reveal much of his personality here,
I still want him to be mysterious for now.
