A wolf raced through the forest, it's fur such a deep brown it looked black. It's large form weaved through the trees with precision. The wolf was running. Caught in it's muzzle was a bag, a stolen treasure she was trying to escape with.
Crashing behind her, growls rumbling in their throats where dogs almost her size, though smaller there out numbered her. An arrow whizzed past her cause her to veer to the side. she knew they were herding her.
She realized how reckless she had been taking on this job but she had been informed the property would be empty tonight. She had taken the risk for the pay out but now the lone wolf was regretting it.
She couldn't focus on this too much, she ducked under a limb, the dogs at her heels. She broke from the tree line only to be met with a rock face and no way up. A dead end, behind her the canine's erripted snapping at her heels. She could smell the horses and men in the distance. She dropped the bag, snapping and growling at the animals. She didn't stand a chance in this form. A man on the ridge shot an arrow down at her, a whistle kept the dogs at bay, circling and keeping the wolf trapped.
She knew she had been caught. The fur began to with withdraw, the body twisted and morphed it was always almost painful, some how warm. Soon she knelt there, Katherine. Her dark hair skin to her fur and her sharp green eyes peering at the men breaking past the tree line.
Katherine was panting, sweat clear on her now nude flesh. It seemed she hadn't gotten away, "oops," she popped off, a smirk crossing her lips as she raised her hands.
From there it was a blur, she was rushed and knocked out only to wake in a cell.
