When Mark and I emerged from the basement, we heard the voices of the people we saw in the surveillance monitors. They were getting closer to the elevator that leads down to the secret lab in the basement.
"You hide somewhere they will not see you." Mark said.
"Okay." I nodded in agreement. I turned around but stopped and turned around to look at Mark. "Be careful." I said waiting for his reply.
"Don't worry, I will." Mark smiled. His smile made his already handsome face more handsome, and my heart skipped a beat.
"I-I will be going then." I quickened my pace and find a hiding spot.
I felt a little shy feeling like a teenage girl being start struck by a handsome guy.

I found a nurse's counter where I can hide at the end of the hall. I quickly hid underneath it and kept silent as I can be. I can hear footsteps getting nearer and my heart was starting to beat faster. I am feeling quite nervous with the people coming.
