Flaris looked around the home with curiosity. She still did not believe that she was on another planet and the furnishings around the house confirmed it. There were all sorts of appliances in the open kitchen on the right and there was even a living room and a television. Everything was the same except for this man and the two moons.
Prince Wu Long watched as his mate curiously looked around still muttering something under her breath. At present, he felt none of the special things that one should for a mate. He knew that this was something that would slowly change and he was intent on finding out more about her before that happened..
Before he could ask her to tell him more about him, she turned to him and asked," Okay, Mister.. hey what is your name! I don't even know your name.."
"It's Wu Long.."
'He even had an earth name and then claims that he is not from Earth!' Prince Ivruss heard his fiance mutter this and made a point in his head about how she liked to be sarcastic at times. It was a good thing, he decided. No one had ever dared to even think some of these things in his presence and she was casually speaking them. He liked it. So, it was alright that he could not read her mind. She blurts out everything any way..
"Wu Long?"
Hearing his name on her lips made it sound even more pleasant and he nodded at her to continue..
"Hey, can you tell me more about this. And don't try to pull the other planet prank on me! I have studied my Science books well! In the Milky Way Galaxy, there is only one planet that has adequate oxygen for humans to live. And that is Earth. And as you said, I am a human who needs oxygen to breathe. And I am breathing just fine. See?"
She took in a deep breath to show him, but his eyes wandered downwards and he stared as he thought, 'Her figure is also pleasing..'
Clicking her fingers, Flaris said, "See! You even have habits of perverted humans! My eyes are right here and not down there! Look at me when I talk to you.."
Prince Wu Long Ivruss, did not do as he was told. In fact, Prince Wu Long paid no heed to what his mate was saying and after checking her out, his attention had been turned in elsewhere. He could hear his people talking to each other as they made their way back from the celebration. Soon, this place would be surrounded by soldiers who would come to report to him.
He could not let the others see her yet. He turned to her and noticed that she was still speaking something and tried to use his power to put her to sleep. But that did not work. The people were now within 200 yards and would be here any minute.
Walking to her, he slowly pulled the girl who was still speaking something and brought her right into his arms.
He saw the way her eyes widened like they had previously and for a brief moment wondered what else could make her eyes big like this. She seemed to be intent on scolding him though.
Flaris could not believe that the man who had just been so gentle with her had suddenly decided to manhandle her. She tried to pull away from his arms but they were like steel bars surrounding her. Deciding that she would have to use the self defense maneuver that she had learn in the class, she was about to raise her head to kick him when he clicked his fingers and turned off the lights.
Stumped for a moment, she wondered what he was up to but before she could think more, her eyes closed and she had fainted.
Feeling his mate go limp in his arms was not what Prince Wu Long had expected when he would first meet her. And yet, here he was. Closing his eyes, he disappeared from the open room and into a bedroom on the top floor. Gently placing his mate on the bed and tucking her in, he opened the windows with a wave of his hand and cool pleasant air drifted in with a faint smell of flowers.
Leaning a bit, he ran a finger down her soft skin almost in amazement that his mate, the person he had been waiting for centuries was here...
He could already feel the changes happening inside him. They made him more curious and more wary at this point.
Apart from immeasurable happiness, he had countless questions in his head. Usually the Elders announced when a person's mate was coming to their life. And on the declared day, the person would gather their family and friends to welcome the mate. Usually, their mates were pulled from all over the large planet of Adrian but sometimes a few were even pulled from Earth.
However, whether the mate appeared from the same planet or another, they always appeared on the podium that had been prepared. Why then did his mate appear in the woods?
He had no doubt that this girl was his mate. His spirit animal had been able to smell her from so further away. It was why the Wolf had not attacked her and even found the smell of burning attractive. Added to this, he could already feel a magnetic attraction to her which was not something the males of this planet could feel to just anyone and then there was hunger..
But all these questions would take time to answer. And before that he would have to ensure the safety of his mate and her character. At a time when the mate bond had not been official, there was still a chance of rejecting them. If this girl's character was not one he could admire and one his people could look upto, then he would have to let her go and endure the hurt. This would result in angering the fates and they could punish him to wait for another ten thousand years but it would be better than being with someone who was not of good character and could endanger their people..
As the Prince walked down, he knew just the perfect person to do this job..
