Present Time:
General Jin Teng knocked on the door of the small cottage. The guards following him had stopped a distance away as they were ordered. He frowned as he noticed the lack of lights. Could it be the Prince was too depressed by the lack of a mate.
At this moment, Jin Teng realized that it was a good thing that Wu Long had not raised his hopes too much. While all of them had rejoiced and anticipated, he had been cautious and even a little depressed. Could it be what he said was true and the Fates would never bless him with good?
The door opened silently and Jin Teng walked inside. The Prince was sitting in a corner in the dark. Walking forward, Jin Teng bowed down and raised his fist to his heart as a salute, "My Lord. This subject would like to apologize.."

Going back to kneel down in front of the Prince, he waited silently for the Prince to speak. Finally, the man sighed, announcing," My mate is here."
Jin Teng looked up in confusion and wondered if the Prince had lost his mind..
"Your thoughts are too loud. Jin Teng and you should be glad that I consider you a friend otherwise your head would be hanging by the tree outside for thinking that I could lose my mind..
Jin Teng lowered his head. He tried to silence all the questions he had in his mind knowing that they would be too troublesome for the Prince.. but it was a chaos.
" I think the Fates have sent you and her in my life to torture me with your questions. My mate is upstairs in the room, sleeping.."
"But the podium remained empty..", Jen Ting was unable to stop himself..
"Someone was being a busy body. Anyway, the mate arrives outside the home. The castle is not my home but this place is."
Jin Teng understood and his golden face stretched into a wide smile, "Then let me congratulate the Prince.. Congratulations, your highness. Is the princess consort too tired and thus sleeping? Would you like to hold the mating ceremony tomorrow or now? I'll go and get everyone to prepare. "

General Jin Teng nodded and proceeded to stand guard outside the door of the room that the Prince had pointed out. His slightly pointy ears were trained to detect the lightest sounds and soon he was able to detect the movement from inside. Guessing that it must be the princess, Jin Teng knocked on the door and waited for a moment until he heard a gentle, "Come in.."
The princess consort had a voice that matched to his Majesty's voice, Jin Teng decided.
Going inide, he continued to look at the floor and was about kneel and greet when he remembered the Prince's words. So, midway he bowed his back and said," Hello.. "At this moment he realized that the Prince had not mentioned the consort's name..
"Uhh.. hello.."
Flaris looked at the golden man in front of her who was greeting in such an awkward position. Was this some new form of greeting.. It looked funny and a bit painful, "Hey! Mister Golden! Hello.."

They had been talking.. then what was she doing in bed.. Looking down, she noticed that at least her clothes were intact and asked sharply," Where is that Wu Long? What did he do to me?"
Jin Teng looked up suddenly at the sharp anger in the consort's voice and caught the first glimpse of the Princess. She really was very beautiful by the Earth standards! No wonder the prince was being cautious and wanted to be sure.
"I am sure, the Pr, I mean I am very sure that the Wu Long did nothing. He has just left for a mission and will be back soon. He said that you were tired and thus asked me to take care of you.."
"I am General Jin Teng, a friend of Wu Long.."
Flaris looked at the man in front of her. He looked somewhere around her age so he should be easy to talk to. Nodding, she said, "Fine, General Jin Teng. Would you like to tell me, what the hell is going on! I have been asking this question for a while now!"
