Chapter 23 - A Break Out

As days turned to weeks, Wu Long and Flaris got into a simple routine. They would spend the mornings walking through the forest and then he would go to his work while she was left to stay at his home and get bored. Once she complained about this to him, he showed her an entire library space in the small cottage! Like a kid in a candy shop, Flaris spent the first few days, burying herself in books and poring over all sorts of things! There were folktales about dragons hoarding knowledge like treasure but now she was sure that those were probably based on truth. There were books available on topics that she had never seen on Earth.
