Fang Junjie got up from the chair and walked inside to his personal bedroom.
He quickly went to his washroom and washed his face.
He reapplied his daily skin care products which were gifted to him by Tang Rong and set his hair to a new hairstyle.
He reasoned himself that he needed to atleast make himself presentable if he is invited to lunch by someone.
He walked to his wardrobe which was filled with grey, black and brown suits.
Looking at them, for the first time, he had an urge to flip something.
For the first time, he felt that his wardrobe was too plain.
Something that was very often said to him by Duan Wei.
After carefully looking through them, he finally chose a black colored suit which was the newest and best ironed.
What other option was available?
Other people might think that all the suits look the same, but he could look better with his sharp vision.
He always managed to find some unruly creases which others could never spot.
After all, being a sharpshooter, he had to have extraordinarily sharp senses.
'Hmm… it has been a long time since I took up a task. I suddenly miss that feeling. Let's see when I get free next time.'
He also had to make up a good excuse in front of the boys for spending a few days outside.
And Long You too…
Only if Long You would want to know him at that time.
He looked at his shoes and once again polished them with the best shoe polish liquid until he could see the reflection of his family photo in the wall in his shoes.
Satisfied yet unsatisfied, he walked out of his office and entered his special elevator.
Getting out into the underground parking, he quickly spotted a low-key Rolls Royce which was parked in an inconspicuous place.
It was good; he could avoid the eyes of his employees who often went out during the lunch hour.
He did not want to get into another headline, it was quite annoying.
Long You definitely understood his preferences. He always does.
Shaking his head of his thoughts, he snuck up taking the cars as a cover towards the Rolls Royce.
That man was already standing outside, waiting for him.
Fang Junjie prepared an easygoing way to lighten the atmosphere and make it friendly.
He had summarised them in a few steps.
He will slowly interact with Long You and get to know if he likes him.
Then he will find a way to bring the topic of relationship in front of them, trying his best to not make the atmosphere awkward.
Then he will confess to Long You about all his shortcomings.
Then it would be on Long You, if he still wanted to give the relationship a try or leave.
'leave…'
Thinking about this, Fang Junjie suddenly felt a very bitter emotion swept through him.
A very repulsed feeling coursed through his body as if his body was protesting against the word itself..
He wanted to immediately throw it up. It was unbearable.
Don't know why, it really felt real.
Swallowing down his saliva as if swallowing all the bitter thoughts, he still walked forward.
He will have to absorb it because it was his own decision in the first place.
Again getting out of his one of the many daydreams he was frequently having, he walked to Long You, trying his best to mask his nervous expression.
Sometimes fate always had something else in hands and it would immediately make all your plans crumble in minutes.
Same thing happened.
But it was a good thing, something that he often remembered in his memories later.
Fang Junjie was trying to execute his first step, the easy line to lighten the atmosphere when something happened that threw all his plans into a whirlwind.
Long You had bent inside the car to pick something up.
He turned around with a huge bouquet of blazingly red roses in his hand and walked step by step to him.
He kept his eye contact with him.
Fang Junjie froze in his place.
Red roses… nothing could be more obvious than that. Even an amateur could understand what it meant.
Long You's each step forward was like a huge drum beating inside his heart.
He was dressed immaculately as ever, with his face which looked sculpted as ever from all angles.
But, why did it look like they both were wearing couple clothes?
Maybe that was coincidental…
Don't know why but a certain line which was quite famous among his adolescent classmates during that time came to his mind.
'Match made in heaven - even heavens want them together…'
ugh... stop it already. He wanted to kill his stupid brain for such thoughts.
Killing off his thoughts, Fang Junjie looked at the person in front of him.
His deep eyes were intense as ever. These beautiful whirlpools which would always look at him, seemingly looking through him, always.
A certain emotion which was usually suppressed in them was now unveiled openly.
Fang Junjie could only see himself in those eyes. Nothing else.
He looked at how Long You looked at him as he was coming closer, his eyes took in Fang Junjie whole from head to toe.
The recipient of the gaze unconsciously clenched his fists.
Long You seemed to have noticed something in his outfit as his eyes twinkled.
Fang Junjie again felt like an ant on a hot pan… coincidental, it was just a coincidence.
Fang Junjie knew that it was coming, and he couldn't just imagine that it would be so soon.
Here he was making his plans for the next one or two months… and Long You… as if he had read his mind.
Long You was finally in front of Fang Junjie.
He looked at him blazingly, with such an intensity that he felt burned.
Fang Junjie couldn't stop the certain tumblings in his stomach. His breath unconsciously got slower.
His eyes were wide, his entire body feeling a very alien sensation.
His entire state had a mixture of surprise, nervousness, anticipation and few crazily rolling emotions.
Long You went closer to Fang Junjie, and while the person in front of him was still frozen as if there was a spell on him he bent down, picked up his hand and slowly touched it to his lips.
The person in front of him jerked, and attempted to take back his hand.
But he still held it in a strong but careful grip that won't hurt.
He did not let Fang Junjie say anything and started speaking.
Still in that position with his lips still on the hand, he muttered.
"Junjie, I love you. I've loved you since the moment I saw you first.
I cannot live without you. Please give me a chance to love you and take care of you.
Just one chance. After that, I will leave myself if I can't make you happy.
My love, you are my life."
The time seemed to have stopped.

Hey Lovely Readers 🌹
I am making a change to the story now.
I will not take the country as China; I will instead pick a new fictional name, because that can help me make many new badass rules about the country.
Let's live fantasy as a fantasy.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
Love you all.
