I woke up the next morning to find myself curled up in Sesshomaru's arms. "What the hell?!" I asked as I tried to get out of them. Then it hit me arms when did it grow back. The better question is how. A soft growl came from the man behind me as well and a bit on the neck which made me shiver and when I looked at the cave entryway I see it's still night and I don't think this Baka will let me out of his arms any time soon. So I lay my head back down and fall back to sleep to the rhythmic beat of Sesshomaru's heartbeat and breathing. I awoke next to Shippo patting my face.
"What Shippo?" I asked.
"Mama why does Sesshomaru have two arms?"
"I don't know I woke up in the middle of the night to him having both again." I said I sat up and he snarled and Shippo snarled back.
"What is he saying?"
"He says that somehow gave him back his arm and he says thank you." Shippo said.
"If I did give it back I have no clue how." I said getting up and walking over to the now out fire and sighed I need a bath I think to myself.
"Mama I think we should find Jaken." Shippo said.
"Why?" I asked him.
"Because he may know something or someone who can help with him." He said.
"Good point." I said. "Fine since your fever is gone we will look for Rin, Jaken, and Ah-Un after breakfast." I said to Sesshomaru and Shippo. So we eat nuts and berries for breakfast today. After eating we packed up and headed out.
"So we found you east of here do you remember where Rin and the others are?" I asked him. He shook his head and I sighed. "Ok, then why don't we go back to where we found you and see if you can pick up a trail sound good?" I asked He nodded and Shippo jumped up onto my shoulder and Snarled they talked for a while as we walked I didn't ask it seemed personal.
"Mama." SHippo said as we entered the clearing.
"What Shippo?"
"What are we going to do if we run into Inuyasha before we find Jaken?" He asked.
"I have no idea but if it happens we will deal with it." I said as Sesshomaru passed me and began wondering the clearing then he stopped and growled.
"He says that his scent just appears that he must have flown here." Shippo said.
"Great." I said sarcastically. He growled Shippo growled back Sesshomaru then snorts and shakes his head.
"He didn't get you were being sarcastic." Shippo said to me. I smiled and shook my head.
"Well since we have no idea where to go why don't we just pick a direction and start walking." I said Sesshomaru growled and walked past the fallen demon from yesterday. "That way it is." I said and he stopped and growled.
"He asked if you are coming. Well more demanded but you know." He said.
"Yes, I'm coming." I said and walked up to him when I reached him he started walking I fell in step one step behind him. It was quieting we walked a very comfortable silence and Shippo got released fast.
"Hey mama what if we run into Kogua?" He asked.
"Tell him off of course."
"Ok." He said. hours pass with silence till we here.
"YOU UNGRATEFUL CHILD SHOP THIS FOOLISHNESS!" A sigh was released from Sesshomaru and we followed the voice. When we found it him Rin and Ah-Un they all looked up at us.
"Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin said running up to us but Jakin stopped her and put himself in front of her.
"Milord your eye's are red what is wrong?" He asked timidly.
"We don't know Jaken." I said walking up beside him. "He was fighting one of Naraku's reincations and got hit by a weird light and when he woke up he had red eyes and the inability to spoken words.
"Inuyasha's wench what are you doing here?" He yelled angrily making Sesshomaru growl.
"I'm not his wench that would be Kykio." I said. "I am merely a wandering priestess now."
"Besides." Shippo said. "Sesshomaru..." He stopped when he let out a menacing growl. "Ok ok." He said. "Sesshomaru want's us to travel with you all."
"When was this decided?" I asked him.
"This morning." I sigh and nod.
"Fine but I think we need to figure out what happened to Sesshomaru before..." I didn't get a chance to finish when a swirl of wind appeared and a man was now standing in front of Sesshomaru.
"Milord." He said bowing. Sesshomaru growled making the man lookup. "What is wrong milord. He turns and looks at Shippo and growls.
"Yea I can do that." He said nodding.
"What did he say?"
"He asked.. rather told me I was to translate for him." Shippo said.
"Ok." The man said and their talk started.
"He says he doesn't know what is wrong with him he says he believes it is much like the beast curse only it didn't send him mad." Shippo said.
"Well, how did this happen?" Jaken said.
"FIghting one of Naraku's puppets." Shippo said before Sesshomaru had a chance to growl but he was right.
"Well that is strange I will go see if I can find something in the library and if I can find a way to reverse this Milord." He said then he saw me for the first time and froze the fact I had Shippo on my shoulder didn't seem to register with him. "Priestess." He said as his eyes glowed. Sesshomaru stepped in front of me snarling.
"He says leave her alone she's not like any priestess you have ever met she has yet to purify me and I have tried on a number of times to kill her." Shippo said jumping onto Sesshomaru's shoulder. "And this being me talk not him that's my momma leave her alone." Shippo said.
"Kit your a demon."
"She took me in after my parents were murdered even helped me get my revenge for my parent's death so I don't want to hear it." Sesshomaru growled and Shippo sighed. "Lord Sesshomaru says the priestess is under my protection as is the kit harm them and you will be fighting me." That probably was the reason he gulped and change the subject.
"Milord I will go see if I can find something that may reverse this curse." Sesshomaru nodded the worldwind happened and he was gone.
"Asshole." Shippo said as he jumped back to me.
"SHIPPPO WATCH YOUR LANGAUGE!" I said sternly.
"Yes, moma."
"Lady Kagome!" Rin said coming up and hugging my legs after hugging her lords.
"Hi, Rin how are you?" I asked the smiling girl.
"Great Rin is great." She said still speaking in third person. I smile at her and look up to see Sesshomaru watching us.
"What?" What the ... Crap. I thought as he snarled. As I felt Inuyasha and the others coming in fast. He snarled and looked at Shippo and he nodded.
"Mama he says to get behind him." Shippo said and so I did I stepped behind him and then I here this.
"Inuyasha leave her alone!" Sango yelled.
"Like hell I will she thinks she can run off like that isn't going to happen." I shit.
"Inuyasha I agree with Sango." Miroku said as they landed. "Hello Lord Sesshomaru have you seen Kagome the Miko we travel with?" Then someone crashed through the trees.
"Sesshomaru where is Kagome!" Inuyasha demanded. Sesshomaru answered in a growl.
"What do you mean it's none of my business!" He snapped. "And why aren't you talking?"
Sesshomaru snarled then turned swifter than anyone could see and I got it we are leaving. I turn and walk in front of him and Rin followed him as did Jaken and Ah-Uhn. I sigh after about thirty minutes. I move away from Sesshomaru and he growled.
"He says to stay close we will have to figure out how this spell works I do not trust fully trust that wind Kuza to find it." Shippo said.
"Ok." I said and went to talk to Rin.
"Lady Kagome why are they looking for you?" She asked.
"Because I left them." I said.
"Why?" She asked
"Because Inuyasha doesn't need me." Sesshomaru snarled.
"He asked if the dead one had anything to do with it." Shippo stated.
"Yup it had everything to do with her." I said shaking my head. "He tells me he loves me then he goes and tells her she's his only one and makes out with her. Then he decides without asking to bring her into the group." He growls.
"Pack." Shippo said.
"Group, pack, pride, school, flock, gaggle, herd, all the same, damn thing." I said, "Then I went off on him and left."
Another growl. "A school?" Shippo asked at the same time as Rin.
"A group of fish is called a school, felines a pride, canine a pack, horses a herd, a gaggle is geese, the flock is every other bird."
"Geese?" Everyone asked
"It type of bird kinda like a chicken." I said then I fell silent I didn't feel like talking at all.
"I thought the wench was an..." Jaken started. I glared and he shut up.
"Tell me Jaken what is this 'Beast curse'?"
"It's a curse that was made to make a demon lose control of their beast. It forces the beast out and the man in most go crazy within a few hours." He said. I nod and the stop and turned to Shippo.
"What Mama?" He asked.
"Demon beast demon beast curse gods why does that sound former but at the same time not." I said biting down on my thumbnail thinking and turned back around and started walking again. Think and thinking almost walked into a tree which I got laughed at but o well then we stopped for lunch and I sighed. Sesshomaru growled at me.
"He says to take a break you're going to give us all headaches and wind up hurting yourself by running into trees." Shippo said.
"I will give myself a headache and I already have to be honest but I have heard of it somewhere just not su..." I stop when Sesshomaru growled I got it I shut up. I handed out food then stood up and walked away from everyone. I walked into the forest and sighed next thing I know arms are around my waist and I looked up and Sesshomaru looked at me questioningly. "I'm going to find fruits." I said he nodded and let me go and took the lead I shocked he would come with me Inuyasha never did. I smiled and walked behind him as we came to the bush of blackberries I collected a bunch as he reappeared beside me with nuts and buck I smiled and we went back as we walked I hummed a song Gramps had taught me.
We got back and I handed out the barries and dished out me some veggies and the barries and nuts no meat Sesshomaru growled at me.
"He wants to know why you aren't eating the meat." Shippo said.
"Because I believe that nothing should die just so I can live." I said to him. He growled again.
"Foolish everything kills to eat." Shippo translate.
"Wrong the deer eat grass and same with horses and other herbivores." I said looking at him he gave me a look and sighed and growled.
"If you start losing too much weight or start getting ill I will force the meat down your throat." Shippo said
"Deal." I said calmly as I eat.
"Mama." Shippo said making me look at him.
"What honey?" I asked him
"Are you going to be Rin's mama now too?" He asked.
"If Rin wants me to be her Mama I don't see why not since I will most likely mother her while we are with Sesshomaru." I said and the little girl's jaw fell open eyes as big as dinner plates.
"Really?" She asked.
"I see no reason why not." I said smiling.
