"Move!" Issac shouted, pushing the younger man to the side as the woman swung at them, narrowly missing Jadin.
"W-what is going on here?" Jadin asked, staring at her as the men around them began to laugh.
Issac stared at Haiti's animated body, sighing. I knew that her body felt too cold and stiff to be human but for it to be able to move.
______________
"What's going on, Issac?" Jadin looked at the man and shivered.
For all the few minutes that he has known Issac, this has to be the scariest he's ever looked at.
Issac's eyes burned with anger though it is not very evident on his face, unless you tried to look close enough.
"I-Issac?"
"Do you like it?!" The commander shouted, laughing at them as Issac simply stood there, staring blankly at her. "Our latest technology!"
"What did you do?!" Jadin shouted at the commander as she began to attack Issac again. He only dodged her attacks, for now.
"It is simple really." The man began, pride written all over his face. "You only need the brain of a human and then you can give them a new body from that. Just implant something into the brain. Though ... they are not really 'humans' anymore at this point."
"You-"
"What? Me?" The man asked, smiling. "What are you going to do, Jadin? What can you even do? Just hand me the HDD and I will call her off."
Jadin stared at Issac's blank expression, hardly able to dodge the woman anymore as she lands a punch to his chest and then to his stomach.
"Issac!"
He managed to move away from the third hit but Issac did not look well enough to be able to do anything about her.
What do I do? What do I do? Jadin thought, noticing at Issac still held the HDD in his hands. If I give that to them ... maybe.
But then, what will be the point anymore then?
He stared at the gun in his hands and quickly held it up, taking aim and shot it at the woman.
Someone kicked him in the leg, making him trip over as the bullet shot into her cheek, creating a hole in it. As blood and flesh splattered everywhere.
What. The. Hell?

Issac stared at the woman in front of him, blood dripping from her mouth onto the ground as he stared at the wound.
So she isn't mechanical inside like I thought. But then … how did they get this body for her then?
He turned his attention from the woman and then to Jadin who stood there, full panic on his face while he gripped at the gun.
If he is always this indecisive, how will he even survive? Issac thought, getting another punch to his face which knocked him to the ground, eyes watering.
She did not waste a second as a kick came to his face, knocking him away again.
"Issac!" Jadin shouted, running to him. "Just give me the H-"
"No," Issac shouted, dodging her and ran to Jadin. He handed the HDD to him, "Do not give this to anyone."
"Bu-"
"Do you trust me?"
"Not enough. I just met you." Jadin said, holding the HDD tightly.
"Fair," Issac said, pulling him out of the way as the woman kicked, aiming at Jadin now that he has the HDD.
By now, most of the soldiers have surrounded them in a circle, making escape impossible.
"Promise me you will keep that safe," Issac said, looking at Jadin's eyes. "Don't let their sacrifices go to waste."
Jadin sucked in a breath and nodded as the woman rushed to them again, this time, she held a gun and pointed it at Issac's head.
"You are done!" Someone in the crowd shouted as Issac turned to her.
Without any hesitation, she shot at Issac who redirected the direction to the man that just shouted at them, hitting him on the neck.
"Noisy." Was all he said while Jadin stared at Issac's back, eyes wide.
How the hell did he-?
Some of the people closest to the two began to back away.
"Don't worry about him!" The commander shouted. "He won't be able to touch her!"
"Haiti." Issac staring at the woman. "Sorry and ... thank you."
He touched her face, a small smile coming on his face while everyone watched in anticipation. She placed the gun to his skull, much to the delight of everyone, except Jadin, there.
"Issac! Watch o-" Jadin was about to warn the man when they heard something snapping. Everyone stared in horror as they saw her head face in the opposite direction as her body.
The blood spilt everywhere while Issac took the gun from her trembling hands and shot all around her neck four times. Satisfied, he threw the gun down and twisted her neck again, pulling her head out of her body while everyone looked in silence.
"Y-you are a monster." Someone shouted as Issac turned to him, blood dripping down his face, neck, hair and clothes.
"I have been hearing that a lot today," Issac said, tilting his head to the side as blue smoke escaped from his eye.
As soon as he snapped Haiti's head, the negativity in the air increased by ten per cent and he felt the same warmth he felt when he first used this … 'skill'. If you could call it that.
I need to do more research. I can't control it. He thought, the smoke filling the place as the commander raised his hand and they began charging at Issac and Jadin.
Jadin tucked the HDD in his clothes and began running to Issac, shooting the gun wherever he could and with no aim.
"Issac!" The younger man shouted as some more people came in front of him, blocking his pathway.
Issac stared at the smoke and then at them, counting in his head. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten.
Everyone began convulsing again and fell to the ground, trembling as screams filled the air, mostly from the commander in the jeep.
Issac walked past them, stepping on some of them as he still held Haiti's head and stopped in front of Jadin, his face all battered.
"You ok?"
"Fine." The younger man said, pushing himself up and almost freaking out at the head in Issac's hands. "Are you going to carry that?"
"I need to know what they did," Issac said, looking at her eyes wide with fear again. "This is the only way to know."
"Well cover it up," Jadin said, pulling the, relatively clean, shirt from one of the men laying on the ground, unmoving. "Here."
"Thanks," Issac said, taking the cloth and wrapped Haiti's head in it.
"Get- get away!" They heard the general shouting, trying to run away from nothing as he accidentally released the emergency brake.
This sent the jeep down a path of people that turned to corpses immediately before it ran off the side of the road and smashed into a tree, bursting into flames.
"Well … he is dead," Jadin said, Issac walking past him to check the wreckage. "Right?!"
"We always need to make sure," Issac said, looking at the fire for any place of escape but there was nothing. "I think he is dead."
"Ok," Jadin said, watching as the tree began to catch into flames. "We need to put that out before-"
"Let it burn," Issac said, handing the head to Jadin and walked back to the people writhing on the ground beside the corpses.
Picking three up at a time and without another word, Issac placed their bodies into the fire.
"What are you doing?" Jadin asked, holding the bundle close to him, scared it would get lost if he didn't.
"We can't give them a proper burial," Issac said, putting another three into the growing fire. "This is all we can do for their bodies."
"I thought you were trying to erase all evidence of what happened here," Jadin said, just following Issac as his arms continually got burnt every time he placed a body near the fire.
"I don't think anyone would have been able to figure out what happened even if we left it like this." Issac said, bringing the last two and laying them in the fire with Haiti's 'body'.
"Then why go through all the trouble-"
"I just find it disrespectful to leave bodies littered around like this," Issac said, staring at Haiti's head in Jadin's arms. "The dead already suffered enough, leave them alone."
"I … I see," Jadin said, staring at the fire with Issac. "We- we should be getting back."
"Yeah," Issac said, taking one last look at the fire before turning to Jadin. "So … how do we get back?"
Oh right. Jadin thought, looking around him. We are quite on the outskirts of town. We can't walk all the way back.
He stared at the one jeep left and turned to Issac blowing at his burnt hands.
"We can take the jeep but ... that would be evidence that can be placed on u-"
"Can you drive a jeep?" Issac asked, holding his blackened hands up. "I am in a bit of pain right now."
"I can but ... aren't you scared-"
"Let's go then," Issac said walked to the jeep and began to hotwire it with his trembling hands.
Jadin turned to the fire now calming down as the smell of smoke filled the air.
No going back now. I hope ... I didn't make a mistake.
