I remember seeing how they looked in the pictures of the museum although they were only shown in paintings. The only thing is that they were in the mythical section and or in the section where scientists and artists reimagine what animals look like based on their skulls and bone structure.
Sholters were mythical creatures that many fishermen claim to see around the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. They have human-like figures but have fins for ears and for hair. They have blue or grey skin. Their eyes are light yellow in color and have a black slash at the center. Their teeth and claws are so sharp that they could rip a giant great white in mere seconds.
My thoughts were interrupted by a loud horn of the car, indicating that we arrived at Briana's place. The full moon wasn't giving me serenity anymore but the eerie feeling of dread and mourning. It wasn't ideal for me any longer to be under the sky. Out in the open like prey waiting to be hunted on by the predator and it was horrifying for me to think about it.
I try my best to shake the feeling of when we entered Briana's room. We start to put our things in place and start to play spin the bottle with truth or dare.
Sitting next to me at my left was Francois and at my right is Tiffany. We were all gathered in a circle. I find myself smiling as I look at everybody's faces. It was like the old times. We were still gathered up in a circle, sitting in the exact same place. Although one of us is not here.
"Alright. Let's start!" Briana excitedly exclaimed and spun the bottle. Slowly, it pointed at Sinon. "Truth or dare?" she asked.
Sinon thought of it for a while. "I'll go with truth."
Elon, the third eldest of our group asked. "Who are you interested in right now?"
Sinon has been very far from us and we rarely get to see her. Seeing her reaction form this question was priceless. Her ears grew red and she smiled nervously.
Sinon laughed a little. "He's in my class but he already has a girlfriend. He's incredibly talented and smart and handsome as well." She started to trial off. We all looked at her with smiles on our faces. Who knew she'd be crushing this hard on a guy.
Sinon ended on her little appreciation speech for her crush and we start to spin the bottle again. It pointed to our beloved class clown, Jeremiah.
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth" Jeremiah said.
"Have you dated before?" Francois asked.
It's not really a shocker that either one of us was going to question who Jeremiah likes. He always talks with girls but then again has good and solid friendships with the guys and other people from other schools. Now, we get to know his preference.
Jeremiah let out a heartful laugh and looked at us all. "I've dated girls before. Now, I'm kinda bored to be in relationships." He said. He then admitted that he dated two girls in our class in high school but they didn't have a graceful breakup.
