Third persons POV
Darhl was seated on the sofa in a large bedroom that was decorated in dark features to match with the gloomy look on his face as he stared endlessly at the wall.
He had been like this for hours now, trying to figure out what was really going on. For starters, he isn't quite sure what exactly was happening, he was supposed to be the beast, and he was supposed to be the one who awakens before the dragon, but he doesn't feel anything like a beast.
He had not felt any single change in his body or mind and that just made him wonder what exactly was going on or if he had been lied to.
What he knew was that the beast's dragon had already awoken and the dragon was only meant to wake up after the beast did but that doesn't seem like the case unless Darhl suddenly thought of something his eyes squinting at the wall of the dark room.
