Find your grandmother, Blaze. She is waiting for you. My father told me during my time in the Garden Of Death.
Unfortunately, I hadn't been able to find her. But now, here she was, in captivity of Raptor. I had a shocked face and Magnum felt heavy under my hand.
"After Albert Hunt's death, your grandmother was the only person who knew who you really were." Raptor stated. "Therefore, I couldn't let her come close to you. She had escaped but not for long. I captured her during my conquest of attaining the power of the giants. But I kept her out of the scene up until now. But now that you know the truth, I have no use for her. So I guess she can be the sacrifice to awaken the King."
"Oh! No you don't!" Oliver shouted. "You cruel little – okay, fine – cruel huge monster, you aren't doing any of that!" He held his shock weapon and sent electric waves. Raptor easily dodged it and smiled. "You know that you can't do a thing to me. Why not just stop trying?" He muttered.
"To grandma, now!" I ordered and rushed towards her. The others followed but the giants were quicker. They stood in front of me, defending the sacrifice. More giants helped get the lady out of the fight. Wade came in the picture. "Okay. Some help is needed here." He told his soldiers and they obeyed. The fired the giants and the other DELTAs attacked bravely. I though, went to chase the giants who took grandma.
I ran towards them but they had already reached to the middle of the whole mountain top. Drakolleus stood up from the side. Looking at him, Colloseus tried getting up. The dragon was weak but he had promised to help. He flew towards Drakolleus and the fight between the dragons began once again.
Raptor rushed to help Drakolleus but I blocked him and took on a new fight against the beast. From the corner of the eye, I saw grandmother surrounded by the giants, waiting for Drakolleus to use his magic.
The DELTAs came to help in a bit and fought the giants. Up until now, there were separate fights going on. The dragon fight, Wade fighting the giant army and us fighting Raptor. But now, it became more like a war. We all charged together and attacked whichever enemy was closest. Using the Zantai power in this mess was difficult but I used it up to a certain extent. I used it to make some giants fight themselves. Amanda helped as well but the battle was overwhelming our concentration.
"Begin the ceremony!!" Raptor announced and Drakolleus made his way to the middle where my grandma stood. I knew she was scared to watch all this. I needed to save her and get her out of this place. Colloseus who followed his brother was blocked by Raptor and a few giants. Then it began – the ceremony.
That's when it struck me that the last two lines of the prophecy were underway. One has to make sacrifices. The One her was my grandmother who was about to be a sacrifice to the King. And I didn't even need to think about the last line.
It all made sense now. If my grandmother would die today, King Jalaar would rise without a doubt. So that was the key – saving my grandma. "We need to save her! That's the only way." I shouted. The others understood. "On it." Wade replied and went through the crowd of monster. The DELTAs were trying their best to get to Drakolleus but the dragon was well guarded by the giants. Not that he needed it. One blow from Drakolleus and we would be sent flying.
I slashed my way through the giant army. No DELTA showed any mercy now. We all were brutally killing the beasts. Amanda got into the real battle against Raptor. "You'll kill my father, you ugly worm?!" She screamed, frustrated. Raptor had the upper hand in the battle even after her sharp attacks. Xavier joined in, helping her. Oliver and I rushed to Drakolleus where Wade tried to fire the giants.
"Ruin the ceremony!" Oliver yelled and sent shock waves through his weapon. The giants were paralyzed for a millisecond and then they again went on with killing us. "Okay, this is not the most efficient weapon." Oliver confessed as he tried smacking a giant's head. Drakolleus had already started the ceremony. He had his right hand to the sky and his left hand touched the ground. His eyes were closed and steam could be seen coming through his body. Maybe some kind of prayer.
In between my grandma cried, "Blaze… you need to-" The ground cracked and she fell to the ground. I called out to her but she was hurt. The land around her was cracking. I needed to do something and quick. "Disturb the dragon!" I shouted at Wade and he nodded. He tried firing Drakolleus but the dragon was too focused. I wished I could have that much concentration in Zantai.
Colloseus flew from above and landed on his brother. Drakolleus was forced to open his eyes and he breathed fire in front of us. But nothing changed. The ground still kept cracking and it was dangerously close to my grandmother. "Run, grandma!" I ordered and she got up, panting. She ran towards the safest place she could find which would also crack in a few seconds.
Behind, I heard Raptor thrashing my friends. I told Oliver to take care of them. Then I took charge. I attacked all the giants at once. Slashing through them was a difficult task with so many reinforcements but I managed to do so. Wade followed me from the dead path of giants behind. I charged towards Drakolleus and Colloseus rushed from the other side.
The dragons fought intensely and I almost immediately regretted my decision of joining in. I was barely surviving there and Wade felt the same way. I used Magnum's power and floated up in the air. I thrust the battle-axe into Drakolleus's head and the dragon cried. But all this time, the ceremony was going on.
Drakolleus did one last action with his right hand which he thrust into the ground. And that was it. The ground cracked completely. "Go save yourself! You are important." My grandmother said. "Meet the Red One!!!" She yelled and fell into the pit to her death.
