When Evan was sleeping soundly, Adriana got off the bed then walked to the living room to meet Zach and Dave who had been waiting for her.
Arriving in the living room she saw an unusual sight. Zach fell asleep on the couch with Dave sitting back to back and leaning their heads on the couch while Amanda was playing with her smartphone.
"They visited but instead slept," Adriana muttered in surprise.
"Maybe they're sleepy," Amanda said.
Adriana sighed and then sat down next to Amanda but her gaze remained focused on the two men who had been so soundly asleep that one of them was snoring. she smiled faintly at the two handsome men. It looked cute when they were asleep, making her think back to Mark who sometimes often fell asleep on the sofa when he visited the house.
"Haven't they been chatting since earlier?" asked Adrian.
"Don't even talk about staring at each other. They sound like hostility," Amanda replied casually.
"Maybe they do because they haven't known each other for too long. Well, then I want to go to the kitchen." Adriana got up from the sofa and walked to the kitchen to see what her mother was doing while Amanda remained on the couch because she was too busy watching YouTube videos.

Arriving in the kitchen, Adriana saw her mother chopping some vegetables on a not-too-large pantry metallic color.
"Mom," said Adriana, positioning herself standing next to her mother. "What are you cooking?"
"Grilled chicken and salad," Emma answered casually. she smiled at Adriana who looked prettier than usual because she had just attended the divorce trial. She understands that her daughter is simple, but when there is an event outside, she always looks different with a simple style but makes her look sweeter.
"It looks delicious. I happen to be hungry," Adriana muttered, turning to the roasted chicken. she also took tongs to flip the meat so that it was perfectly cooked.
"How was the trial?" Emma asked.
"It's smooth, mom," Adriana replied, then exhaled harshly at the memory of the time the judge finished up her marriage to Mark. "Now that I'm officially divorced... I've officially failed to maintain the marriage I've always dreamed of."
"You have to be patient, Sweetheart..sometimes the one who marries us is also not our soul mate, even though we already have children from him. You have to be optimistic in going through all of this and believe you can find another love that is better than before," Emma exclaimed with a smile rubbing Adriana's right arm.
Adriana nodded and smiled stoically. "Thank you for always supporting me every step of my way."
"Of course I will always support you because I don't want you to be sad all the time. Now is the time for you to rise, get the happiness you deserve. Everyone deserves to be happy."
"After this, I will focus on developing our shop. Mommy just needs to help me take care of Evan," said Adriana with a more relieved heart. she hasn't thought about a mate yet, because her heart is still so sore from the wounds from Mark that were inscribed on her, and also the trauma of Margareth's treatment that made her shudder in horror, afraid that she would get in-laws like her again. ah, that means she has to be careful in choosing her future husband one day.

Mark has just arrived home after attending his divorce trial with Adriana earlier. He chose to be alone in his workspace. the man looked at the photo of his son on the small frame hanging at the end of his desk, then picked it up and stared at it.
"Daddy misses you, son." Mark hugs a photo that shows Evan, seven months old, crawling among piles of small balls on a playground. The man began to feel a longing for his son who certainly would not live with him because custody fell to the mother.
'I missed you, Adriana. Why after divorcing I feel that I love you as much as Maura ... You mean to me,' Mark thought as he leaned his body against his oversized black chair. he closed his eyes, remembering every moment with his son and ex-wife in that house.
"Mark!"
Someone says. Mark opened his eyes again and looked at someone who came over to him while putting Evan's photo on the table. "Maura, since when did you come?" he asked.
"I just came. I looked for you in all the rooms and it turns out you are here," replied Maura in a spoiled tone. Her attention was drawn to a photo on the table and then took it. "Is this a photo of your son?" she asked.
"Yes," said Mark.
Maura nodded her head and asked, "Did you miss him?"
He sighed then bent his face. "Of course I miss him. He's my son, my flesh and blood... Even his face resembles mine."
"Then we will go to your ex-in-laws house to meet him. I also want to meet him because he looks adorable and he will also be my son when we are married," Maura said as she continued to stare at Evan's photo.
"No need. taking you there will only make Adriana hurt again... that means I'm evil," said Mark remembering how Adriana cried when she was officially divorced from him. Hmm, that's right that you are evil!
Maura approached Mark, then sat on his lap sideways and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Then we should get married soon and after that, I'll give her a cuter child."
"Yeah... Because all my descendants will be cute and handsome." Mark smiled mischievously then kissed Maura's lips aggressively.
Maura also returned the kiss and pressed the nape of the neck to deepen the kiss until her eyes were closed enjoying the delicious sensation of kissing for a few seconds.
"When are we getting married?" Maura asked.
"Whenever you are willing, I will always be ready to marry you," replied Mark with a gaze so intense and a warm smile without a burden, as if he had forgotten Adriana and Evan too. Damn you are the jerk man!
