The house wasn't any more different than the other surrounding houses. It was small and covered in plants. Unlike the other houses which looked like they were being taken care of, this one looked as if it had been abandoned.
Terra walked up to the door and knocked. Silence.
He knocked again. Nothing.
"Terra, it doesn't look like there's anyone here." Luna said
"Yeah. Even if there was someone, it's the middle of the night. No ones going to answer the door" Cielo said
Terra raised his hand up to the door again but this time, he began banging on the door.
"Ahh! What are you doing idiot!" Cielo yelled
"Stop hitting the door!" I yelled
We pulled Terra away from the door but he began yelling instead.
"Open the door! I know you're in there!" He yelled
We covered his mouth but he kept trying to yell around our hands.
The door creaked open and a small figure peaked through.
"You guys should shut up. The guards might hear you" a small voice said
Terra stopped yelling. "Let us in the house then"
"Magic word" she said
He rolled his eyes. "Now"
She didn't say anything for a while before she slammed the door in our faces.
"Fine! Please?!" Terra yelled
She cracked the door open. Terra walked to the door and fully opened it. He looked back and said "Leave your shoes at the door"
As we walked in I saw that the inside was much bigger than the outside led it to be.
Standing next to Terra was a girl who looked to be around twenty. She had dark black hair and light blue eyes that stood out.
She was lightly punching Terra's arm over and over again.
"Ouch," Terra said without any emotion.
"It's what you deserve" she said
"Excuse me but why are we here?" I asked Terra
"We need to stay here for a few days until we can leave. The guards are going to be looking around for us and will certainly be waiting for us to leave this place." He replied
"That's fine but who is this?" I indicated towards the girl.
"This is Kind. She's my sister in law" he replied
"In law?" Luna asked "You're married?"
"Used to be" Kind said
None of us said anything.
"Well! What's for dinner?" Cielo asked
"It's the middle of the night. We should head to bed for now. We can eat in the morning" I said
Cielo complained as Terra brought out some blankets. Gun, apparently his name, tried to calm Cielo down.
"Sorry. This is all we've got. You should lay on them and use them as pillows as well." He said
"Don't we get mattresses?" Cielo asked
Terra shook his head.
"I wanna go back to the barn" he muttered
After getting our makeshift beds, we went to sleep and hoped for the best in the morning.
I looked around me and saw a rainbow of colors shining down on the aisle before me. There was a figure walking down towards the end all dressed in white. They had pink roses in hand. Shit. That's me.
