"Who are you?" I asked while carefully studying the young man. He was in his early twenties, hard to believe he was the captain of this ship. However, the older man looked submissive to him, answering my unspoken question.
"The name's, Captain Ayden Cortez, and this is my second in command, William Smith." Ayden has shoulder-length black hair that was draped on his shoulders, with a braid or two hanging down. His burgundy eyes were changing colors in the sunlight, almost looking closer to red.
He was a well-built man, not covered in muscles but a hint under his clothing. His face was clear of piercings except for his ears, which had gauges.
