Blackheart traveled across the sea smoothly in the clear weather, and in a matter of days, we could see a port up ahead. All of us were on the main deck, a little excited to see land finally.
The ladies dressed up, in pretty dresses, with jewels sparkling from their necks and ears. The pirates were dressed in their best clothes, all cleaned up for a day in town. All wore relaxed features, a couple smiling and others, were void of emotion.
They all jumped up and down with happiness looking like little girls, and I chuckled lightly. Although it could be a joyous day, I didn't get their freedom. I could go shopping, but not without the grouchy Captain.
When Blackheart was finally anchored, and the ramp was placed down, the other four ladies dashed away with two fellow pirates following behind. And soon their small figures couldn't be seen any longer.
