As the sun gets higher in the sky, the day's action starts. Plants and trees devour the beams of the sun. Thus, in the calm morning, with only a faint breeze stirring the white curtain, sending a cooling gust of wind gently ripples running her body.
There she was, in the Indian-seating style, on the floor, meditating with her eyes closed. Amid her meditation, she smiled as breathing in the fresh air streaming in at her through the open window. She meditated for the past hour or two ago, despite the aching laziness of her head and limbs. She was about to end her meditation session when a knock sounded at the door, and the three-person entered.
None other than Kitty, Bret, and Maxwell, who walked themselves into her room while she was still sitting on the floor.
"Morning bish! " Bret exclaimed as he thoughtlessly flung his body into the bed, wrinkling the already tidy-up bed. He was exceptionally extraordinary energy, which can be quite perturbing if his energy mixed with Kitty's.
Handing her coffee on the nightstand, Maxwell seated himself on the bed bench. Kitty was walking around the room, examining the spaces and the details of the suite. It has different designs, although the furniture is quite the same as her room.
Expressing her thankfulness for their consideration, bringing her favorite drink, which is Matcha Latte. She would drink either Matcha Latte or her usual Iced Espresso. The taste? The espresso should be bitter, but not too bitter. It should be rich, but not too rich. So neither is it too sweet nor bitter. Nevertheless, Kitty absolutely hates it. Wait, no, she despises it. She always has this disgusted face whenever Anya drinks it. She couldn't understand why people like it. To her, it was nothing more than the taste of bitter coffee beans.
Thinking about the taste, Kitty scrunched her nose in disgust. "They want to buy espresso for you, but I beat them to do it if they dared. So they decided to buy you your favorite Matcha Latte. I got myself one too, hun "
They raised their cups and clung them together. Cheers! The slightly bitter matcha, along with the sweet taste of milk cream exploding in their taste buds. The lads just shake their heads upon seeing the ladies' little reaction prior to drinking to a mere drink.
"Should we go for our breakfast?" Maxwell suggested.
They all looked at each other before nodding their heads.
Anya then changed into a white boho dress paired with a pair of sandals and a straw hat.
Feeling satisfied, she walked out to join her friend, who had been waiting for her.
Fetching her sling bag, all of them exited the room. Glancing at the room next to her, the sign "Don't disturb" was hung on the door handle.
" He's not there. He already left for breakfast with Henry, if you were wondering," said Maxwell, who whispered in her ear. Her mouth formed into an 'O' shape before nodding.
It wasn't a very busy day in the hotel compared to last night. Thus, there were only a couple of tables were occupied in the dining room.
Getting inside the room, they didn't stop their steps and continued walked further as they exited the exit room where their assigned butler, Jerry, already waiting for four of them.
" Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. The others have arrived and were waiting for you at the Alfresco dining area. "
Jerry was in his butler suit, black tailored jacket, and matching pants with a white button-up shirt, gray vest, and a bow tie, with his short-haired style neatly. He doesn't look very aged over forty-plus. He looked smart, that's for sure.
"Lead the way," answered Maxwell. Jerry nods his head and leads them to the group. Everyone seems already filled their plate, and it was stayed untouched. Seemingly was waiting for the four of them.
Approaching the table, the four of them greeted the groups and seated down on the table. The server quickly takes their orders.
Sitting in front of Anya, Samuel looked over at her and asked, "How was your sleep last night ?"
" I had a pleasant sleep, but Kitty disturbed it, calling me in her drunkenness"
"HEY! I was wasted after Henry dared me to take three shots of vodka"
" Well, it not my fault. You were eyeing it so intensely when I was drinking it. Not that I know you couldn't stand to drink Vodka," Henry shrugged his shoulders in a careless manner, as if it were no big deal.
Kitty glared at him threateningly, and then spun around, pretending to be mad at Henry, who teased her about last night's chaotic scene.
" You give it to me, so it's your fault"
"Yes, yes, that's correct. I always wrong and you always right"
"That's absolutely correct," she nodded her head, barely able to keep the silly grin from her face.
Anya and the others chuckle at the two of them. They seem to banter a lot, but can work together peacefully.
"Well, we have two more hours before we continue our journey, so let's pack up early so we can roam at the city a bit."
" Sounds good." Danny and the other agreed, excusing themselves to retreat to their room. Anya, on the other hand, has another plan.
" You guys go. I'll stroll in the garden and the beach side for a few minutes," she informed. Immanuel looked at her questioningly, "Don't you want to pack up first?"
" Don't worry. I already did this morning, right after I finished my shower"
" Okay then. We'll gather in the hallway later, okay, everyone?"
Anya nodded.
" Do you mind if I join you?"
Jackson walked up to her and stood very close, looking deep into her eyes with a mischievous smile on his winsome face.
" Nope. I could need some companion"
They were silent for a few minutes, strolling lazily down the beachside. The garden that was built close to the beach was perfect for strolling, but rather too formal for reclining, sprawling or lounging in the bright spring sunshine.
" Did you have a good sleep last night?" She asked.
" Not really, I just had only two hours of sleep"
" Two hours? What were you doing?" And the moment he said that, Anya turned her head and looked at him.
" Works."
" Don't work too hard, or else you will get sick if you don't have enough rest," She folds her arms, standing in front of him.
" Well, I want to finish my work fast so I can spend this holiday with you"
" By the way, thanks for bringing me to my room," she mumbled.
" My pleasure"
" You could have woken me up, you know?"
"I know, but you were sleeping very peacefully, so I don't want to ruin it." He leaned down, swiping the end of her dress before he took her hand, sitting on the garden bench.
" I must have been tired your arms then with my weight"
"Nah, it's fine. You didn't feel heavy at all." He chuckled.
'I'm one hundred and Ninety-four pounds and that's not heavy? He must've been inhuman,' she thought to herself. Her own brothers even have a tough time lifting her up.
She looked at him ridiculously, seemed unconvinced by his words.
"You're lying," she looked, giving him a deadpan expression.
"No, I'm not. I always do my heavy strength training and others more to improve my endurance and muscles"
" Yeah, Henry told me you're a gym freak, but thankfully you aren't like those in social media, that very restricted with what they eat"
" I do, but I still can eat junk food that you and Kitty always forced us to eat." Anya slapped his arms playfully as he smiled and continued, "I did take half of my sugar intakes from my diet and control my calories now and then. I went to the gym not to lose weight, instead I was building and maintaining my strength, so I don't need a strict diet. "
" We didn't force you to eat it. We just invited you guys to join us"
" Sure. " His smirk turned into a smile for the briefest of fleeting moments before he rose from the bench and walked away. " See you later than, Anya"
Anya looked at his retreating back contemplatively, her face thoughtful. 'How much time left?' she thought as she calculated the remaining time, "there were four more hours to arrive."
" I should go back," she said to herself, before getting up, then entering the luxurious palace.
