HERE WE GO~
JAYDEN'S POV:
It feels surreal. I'm not sure if I should believe the sight- my eyes sees or the words- my heart says.
But whatever it is, things just transpired too fast to be true, in a strange way.
Me getting a call, she saying she was abducted, and the next moment where I find her lifeless body on the ground.
I went to her and knelt beside her where she was laid.
Despite being aware of the power of truth the situation holds, still believing in a miracle, I checked her pulse once again.
But in vain.
My heart splintered when I felt the coldness on her skin.
Her warmth has already commenced to freeze.
I cried.
A lot more than I've ever did.
"Zienna," I sniveled, "Please..no! Wake up..
ZIENNA!!!"
"Ahh"
All of a sudden, I realize I was sweating like crazy, and had cried like hell, when I felt the moisture on my face. My heart pounds so hard that I'm hearing it beat to my ears.
I look around the place I'm in, and that's when my alarm went off. I look at my phone and it's six in the morning.
Wait, it's Wednesday!?
Has it been a week already? What happened to me? What about the murderer?
Or could it be..
Without delaying a second, I unlocked my phone and dialed the number.
The person on the other end said, "Hey, What's up?"
"Zi-Zienna?" I trembled, "Is that you?"
"Who else would answer my calls? Of course it's me, silly!" She chuckled, uncertainly.
"Where are you? Who are you with? Are you okay? Is there a problem? Wh-"
She cut off before I could ask further, "Hey, hey! Slow down there. I'm out for a jog. Is something wrong?"
"Stay there.
Don't leave, stay." I hung up.
I bounced off of the bed and went in to freshen up.
My worries soothed when I felt the band aid on my forehead from yesterday.
I sprinted to the place.
A sigh of relief escaped me when I spotted her.
She was seated on one of the benches in the park, sipping her drink and fluttering her legs in a relaxing posture.
Never have I ever imagined that her tied up hair, her bare face with no make up on, and a very usual jog look she went with would make me this ecstatic.
With my eyes on her, I hoofed towards her. I couldn't help but visualize the dream I had. No, the nightmare.
And it made by eyes fill with drops of tears.
When she noticed my melancholic movement, she stood up and looked at me, unclear of what has happened to me.
I reached nearer and nearer to her, but didn't stop.
Finally I did, when my head rested on her shoulders. With a touch, my emotions exploded and I broke down, losing myself in her arms.
She asked me nothing.
Likewise, I told her nothing.
She just held me, although I knew she was obviously baffled.
Moments passed, and when I calmed down, that's when reality hit me.
Am. I. Hugging. Miss. Poker. Face. Right. Now?
I quickly released myself from her grip and cleared my throat, "Good Morning! Had a good jog?"
She was totally befuddled, "I guess? But Jayden?"
"Yeah?"
"I thought you were okay yesterday. I'm not sure what possessed you in a single night," she said.
Well? I must getaway before she asks me anything. Oh no! She's gonna ask me!
Tell something, tell!
"Oh, hey Zienna! I didn't see you there. I might've mixed you with someone else. Haha, um, I must be brain-dead!" I blurted out what we call the absolute absurdity, "Nice meeting you here!"
I even held out my hands for her to shake. She took my hands, with much confusion.
Ugh! So stupid! What would she be thinking of me now?
The moment I said this to myself, I could suddenly hear her inside my head.
The power has showed up.
She says,
'Brain-dead? I was right, he's possessed. Maybe the spirit is a mentally ill one?
A lunatic? A maniac maybe?
It's alright as long as it's not a perverted ghost!
Oh no! Could it be?
He hugged me!
The Jayden Maddox I know would never do that!
This Perverted freaking lunatic spirit!'
What is she thinking!? Creepy woman!
I let go off her hand, nodded awkwardly, and walked away, more like running away.
I turned back and moved my lips, gesturing, 'See you at work,'
I just needed to get away from here as soon as possible!
At work~
I'm in the parking lot, but I'm just too nervous to get away from here. I don't want to experience even a slight sense of Deja vu.
I'm afraid I might see the mother and the little kid, help her catch the kid, get a call from her, and everything to collapse,
this time in reality.
I started walking, highly keyed up.
There comes the exit, I'm still walking.
I evacuated myself from the parking lot, and now I'm in front of the entrance of the station.
Still no sign.
I was relieved. Nothing's happening. And nothing's going to happen.
It was all just a dream.
"WHAT?" Someone yelled so loud that I could hear him from the entrance, "ARE YOU SURE?"
I marched in at full tilt.
"What's wrong?" I asked nervously.
"She's dead" Tommy told me.
"WHAT? WHO?" I was terrified.
Zienna came up from the other side, and said,
"Who else?
Bianca! She's dead.
