How can Anna and Aiden have something in between them?
Even if what she thought she was hallucinating is real, Anna might be comforting a fellow colleague.
She just placed her hand on Aiden's hand. Nothing much!
She must be speaking to him about Kyle and the situation might have demanded her to do it.

That means, Anna hasn't told Brian about their past relationship. Aiden is already aware of Anna's familiarity with Allen.
