Living life in between the space. Earth is her home, but Neptune is where she originates from.
"I am Amica the daughter of Utah, the youngest son of Tanarah, my grandfather".
She must act like a human being on Earth, but at home, she is a highly respected princess in the Royal Palace and across the other worlds in the Universe. she resembles different worlds, but she mostly loves living like an Earther without considering her royal duties. Her whole life is spent on being an Earther than being the princess of Utah.
"Daughter...."
Her father's voice interrupts her spell chanting. He appears on her doorstep holding a bunch of flowers in a vessel while sniffing them. She smiles at the sight of seeing her father with a beaming smile.
Oh, dear Father, I think he enjoys being here on Earth married to my mother than being the crown prince King of Peace. She thoughts out her reckoning.
This is why she loves her dad, they share the same heart and perception about the life of the Universe. That one simply is, exists in oblivion. She arises from her messy bed cheerful heading to the door where her dad is standing.
She attempts to take the flowers from his hands and he tightens the grip on the vessel.
He smiles "Who said they are yours?.....these are for my beloved wife" He walks away.
She watches him stroll away and wonder, what will happen if they have to go back to Neptune...
Her phone chimes from her bed and bring her back to her present, life on Earth. She quickly shut the door and make a run for the call. She picks it up.
"Zayn...why are you calling me at this hour while we live together" It's a video call. she rolls her eyes and sighs. she can't get mad at him, but what a waste of data usage.
"Hey little sis" His lips contort in a wide smile.
She closes her eyes and holds her composure. They do this every day. She sometimes ignores him, but when he's away from the country, she lets him call her or she calls him. She picked it up because she thought it was her crush. He promised her a call in the morning. She's new into this dating thing, so she can admit she is a bit too trusting with this young lad who caught her eye.
"Natasha! " He yanks her mind back to reality
"I am not Natasha, I am Amica remember. My new name. Why did I have to get a new name, while all of you never got to be named" She grumbles and throw herself on the bed while holding the phone steady showing her face. She hears a knock on the door. "Just get in Zayn" She ends the call and throw the phone on the bed. She looks upward at the ceiling with a frown.
"You got named because you are the chosen one" He joins me on the bed.
"Brother Peace is powerful..." I argue.
"He got named at birth, the name called for him. Remember that father was grieved that time because his mother died at childbirth and he was a gift that brought peace. They say--" She shortens his sentence by talking.
"I know he was literally white baby" She yawns trying to stay present. This conversation makes me feel drowsy.
"My argument is why aren't you changing yours because you got one" she gives him an inquisitive glance
"What's there to change? Zien" He chuckles. "The pronunciations are the same just different spelling. But yours is quite different...Natasha to Amica" He grins at my annoyance
"No explanation makes sense" I pull over the sheets and cover my head.
He pulls the blankets and glances at me. "I think it is a cool name. It has a resonance " He reached my chest. "Let your heart accept the name. Don't fight it. It's your true name or you won't be able to practice your spells in full capacity"
She gasps " What! Why didn't you say that sooner?" She hits him with the pillow but he ducks before it lands on him.
"Come on, do you need a reason to accept yourself" He ducks another pillow flying his way. He leaps from the bed and land on the floor on his butt. He sprinted out of the room as many pillows were flying his way. "Nice spell practice, you getting there" He shouts in the hallway.
She sneers. "I am not getting there, I am good" She shrieks in defence. She breaks the spell and the pillows disappear leaving the original four pillows on the floor.
"Breakfast is ready" Her mom echoes the whole house. She checks her phone, no missed call or a text. Her heart sunk into a pit of disappointment. She picks her phone and deletes his number. She gazes at the phone for a moment and releases a sigh to reassure herself that this is the right decision. She hates indecision and agitation. She rather be single like her brother.
She changes into loungewear and leaves the room. She walks her way to the kitchen. When she enters the room, her siblings were grumbling at her mom who was nestled nicely with her dad dining their breakfast alone. Wait alone?
"Where's our breakfast?" She asks in a confused tone.
"They ain't any breakfast for us" Sydney retorts.
"You are grown-ups. Make yourselves breakfast. Stop complaining we are trying to eat in PEACE" she glances at Peace.
He frowns at her gesture. He sees what strike she pulled there.
"Come on, let's make ourselves food to eat" He leads his way to the fridge.
We follow pursuit while mumbling to make ourselves breakfast.
In the bedroom
The phone is ringing as the screen flashes numbers without a name. It rings and the call finally ends showing four missed calls.
The phone chimes and a text is received.
"I am sorry. Can we reschedule our date for 15:00"
Another chime
"I have to see you. I am flying out of the country tonight"
Another chime
"Call me"
The phone's screen flashes battery Low, phone switching off.
After few seconds, she comes rushing in and picks up her phone on the messy bed and grabs a side bag swivelled on the chair.
"Don't leave me behind" She runs out of the room.
