She rests her head on the pillow covered in her sky blue duvet with her phone held up by her hands. She held the phone like a Bible on her chest. She knows he won't call any time soon or maybe till he returns if he calls. Her heart gasps a bit if he believed her word. Her phone died. How reckless of her. She slides deep into her sheet and covers her head.
"Ughh!" She grunts, feeling embarrassed when she recalls the events of her day. She was determined then boom she ran after a man after the thousands of voicemails. Damn it!
Her phone rings.
Is it him? She eagerly watches her phone buzz with his name. KYLE...The God of Beauty, An Aphrodite King.
"Hello" She answered with a soft and soothing voice
"Beautiful" His voice sounded cheerful and pleased.
Her heart sunk. What is this feeling? She is getting butterflies in her stomach.
"Hey..." her voice is melodic.
"How are you?"
"I am good and you?"
"I am fine..."
A stretch of silence is heard from both sides. They are both trying to find words to say to each other.
"So how was..."
"What time..."
They speak at once. They both snicker at the coincidental act.
"I am sorry about earlier. My phone was dead" She bit her lip while wrapped by her sheets.
"It is okay. I am glad that you didn't give me the wrong number" His voice is soft. She chuckles at the thought he had of her.
"Oh wow! Kyle, you thought I would cross you like that after a month of knowing you?" Her white even teeth were on display. Her heart is swooning happiness.
"Well...you are unpredictable. But I had hoped to be wrong and you did...which made me happy" His voice sounded like a voice of an angel. It was melodic and mesmerising. He has tuned in his charms, all guns ready to fire.
She could not stop giggling. It seemed every word he said was sweet nothings, his voice was sweet, warm, sincere and sensual. He is a state of art, a masterpiece. He has the beauty, the physique, the posture, charm, sincerity and the bank account that ensures that the above mentioned is maintained. He is the man she never thought of, the man she always felt appalled by. But he is different...He changes her mind and flatters her heart. He makes her feel like she can surround her little heart and give it to him.
After the long call, she had with him. She gazes at the phone screen, wondering why is she smiling. Her cheeks are in pain from the giggles she had been under. It feels like she is falling...for his charm. This makes her wary, but one can never know till they try. You can't conclude without taking the test. Should she take this test, the love test that has no memorandum of how to master it? Should she risk her heart?
She blows the intensive thoughts on her mind. Let her savour this sweet moment while she still can.

She stretches her arms while standing on the balcony with a sleeveless umbrella floral print dress. Her feet were rested in open sandals. Her face was beaming. She takes a deep breath and sighs complacently. Her heart is swimming in a pool of happiness.
Nick is laid back on the chair while sipping his hot coffee in warm weather. He is scoffing at Amica who is completely in blues and existing in her own life.
"Jealousy will you Nick. I wasn't jealous when you get a girlfriend. Or is it because things are getting rocky" She smiles and take a satisfied sigh.
"This will end in tears" He crosses his index and middle finger in a gesture of a promise.
"Oh please. Jealousy..." She burst a loud chuckle. "Please finish drinking that coffee, my skin is getting burned. I don't want to look tanned when I meet him" She slowly strides to the chair placed far a bit from Nick's seat.
"Then stop sunbathing and sit down" He rolls his eyes.
"Aren't I sitting? Please be quick. I miss him...oh my potential lover" She sheepishly drool over the thought of him.
"Argh...This is too much" He gets up and leave.
She follows his pursuit while letting out small chuckles. She fast tracks her pace to catch up with him. She throws her arm over his broad shoulders and draws him to her side.
"Come on Nick...I am pulling your leg. I will stop. Let us go, it is almost time" She glared at him with a wide smile.
"Whatever! I just want to drop you off and get a breather...I have had it to my neck" He tries to escape her one arm hug but she held him firmly.
"Okay, bro!" She removes her arm around and hold his hand firmly and drag him outside.

She stepped into the restaurant with her eyes searching for his face. She walks halfway without noticing his face in the crowded place. The place has a few people, it should be easy to point him out. While she searched him, she heard the waves calling for her name, she turned and saw the deep blue oceans waves in a metres distance.
She walked to the open window space which was opened to allow the beach scent to soak in the restaurant. She loves beaches, the beach is her first home. She found herself leaning on the window and admiring the waves, the conflict and calmness that it embodies. Can conflict and calmness exist in one body? It seems hard in a human body, but when the ocean exhibits it, its ambivalence is beautiful and resonant. Can a human embrace both and not get killed by neither, but they both exist?
His gaze is fixated on the beautifully figure leaning by the window. He wants to call her name or approach her, but he enjoys admiring her image. Her beauty radiates, her beauty is not just a face, but her heart is an existing beautiful body. Both can be separated and remain beautiful individually. Her beauty surpasses that of a human. He has met gorgeous women, women who are extraordinary in the human sights.
Her existence makes him feel at ease, makes him surround his hardened heart, makes him want to give it all up for him. Being a warrior is his pride, but none of it, it is compared to her. His heart takes pride in her sight. She is the one who completes his puzzle. The one he will die protecting. It doesn't matter if she is a human being, he is willing to take the risk.
He finally gains the courage to disturb her peaceful admiration and reach out to her.
"It is lovely isn't it?" He whispers standing next to her and gazing at the ocean.
"Yes, it is" She turns her face and their eyes meet. Their eyes sparkle gleams of unspoken passions. She tore a warm smile, his heart fluttered. He turned his gaze quickly hiding his shy smile. "How long have you been staring at me?" She shifts her gaze from fixating on his tight jawline, which leads to his juicy prune lips. She wishes to feel them, even with a finger, just to measure if they soft as they seem to her eyes.
"Long enough to maintain me till our next meet. Let's head to our table" He leads the way to our table.
He stands next to the table. "Should I open the chair for you or you can?"
"I will do it, I can't be a princess everywhere I go. Being a princess at home is enough" she clasps her mouth in a gasp. She let out more than she should have.
"Oh...so I am dealing with a princess. No wonder you are cheeky" He snickers. She sighs, she is relieved that he did not interrogate her since he is a lawyer by profession. Whew! She survived that one.
"Aren't we all princesses to our fathers" She chuckles awkwardly.
"Oh, yes. I thought you meant a royal, I wanted to consider myself a lucky gem. Because you do have an aura of Princess" He glared at her intensely. He could see the glint of agitation in her eyes.
She started laughing uncontrollably and his forehead creased with wariness. What is wrong with her? She did not get his sarcasm or is she a real princess in disguise of a common person? She noticed his wariness and calm herself. Was the laughter too much? She wondered. She touches at the empty glass and fixates her gaze on it.
If she avoids his gaze, it will incite more interest in this topic. She should gaze at him so she seems confident. When her gaze lifted, she met the waiter opening a wine bottle. He pours in his glass and when he reaches hers, she stops.
"I prefer juice if you don't have non-alcoholic wine"
"Let me look for one for you mam" The waiter walks away.
His gaze is fixated on me. Her gaze lands on his lips when he sips the wine gently from the glass. The wine gently moves his apparent Adam's apple. As it moves up and down, she moved her gaze to his lips, he licks the residue of the red wine. Her lips gaped open at the thought of his tongue tasting her lips. His lips crashing with hers.
"Are you okay? Do you want the wine, I won't judge" He pushes the glass in her direction. Her lips were gaping open, which was embarrassing and worse, she is the Princess of Neptune. What a wonderful way to represent her people, by having a lack of self-control.
She rubs her temple. "No, thank you. I don't want the wine" She avoids his gaze
"You want me?" His voice was dense and sensual.
Oh, he sounds exactly like when they had those long night calls. Every time she felt his voice caressed her. She felt a deep urge developing on her pelvis. She readjusts herself on the chair.
"Is there such" She chuckles nervously.
"Yes. You can have me." He paused to sip his wine. "Right now you can have me" He takes another sip to his shameless flirting and lustful side that he is portraying to her. He better had read the signs correctly or it will be the end of them.
"Please. You are such a flirt" She chuckles running her hands on the serviette on the table.
The waiter arrives with the wine she requested and open it for her. After he poured the wine, she quickly gulps down her first glass. He shushed the waiter away, the waiter was getting in the way of their flirting.
"What do you think?" He glances at her mischievously and she gave in to a smile. His lips contort a genuine smile. He loves. it when she gives in to his charms.
"I am thinking...we should eat now before one of us becomes dinner" She pages the menu bool hiding her blushing cheeks.
"I am patient. I will wait" He beams
"Okay" She fixated her gaze on the book.
She can't continue letting herself drown in his mesmerising gaze. Every time she peeks into his eyes, she is captured and escaping becomes harder every time their eyes meet. This is supposed to be a friendly dinner, but it has turned into a flirtatious dinner. If this carries on, she will end desiring to end up in his arms, caressing those juicy lips with hers.
She glances at him and meets his gaze. It feels like he is always gazing at her. She watches his lips form a warm smile, she returned his smile. Aww! That is sweet for a minute she feels like he doesn't want to devour me. She should be cautious as Nick ad iced, be wary of his charms. Men like him are dangerous.
