With the king standing in front of us Glaring at us I'm not 100% sure how I feel at the moment. "Can I help you?" Was the first thing out of my mouth.
"All right." Dad said stepping in between him and me.
"Care to tell me what's going on?'' the king demanded.
"There are delegates from the outside world here." Dad said simply. "I think we can all start at the beginning. Why are you here."
The king's layer that Dad as Dad stood in between him and us. "Of all vampires, I would have thought you would not be protective of them,'' he said to my father.
"The more you know." Father said. "I am old enough to know when and where to pick a fight and why it's best to not pick a fight." dad said "The question is are you old enough to know this lesson." Dad asked sternly the king growl and I do my best not to laugh I really do
"But I at least I know where my loyalties lie." I swear at him my dad glares at him while we're at him.
"What exactly are you insinuating?'' Logan asked.
"You have the rightful King of the Torent playing as your advisor. The daughter said advisor is your mate."
"I would suggest you watch your words because you're correct my niece is his mate. And she is my niece." Uncle says. "This means that not only is she under the production of the Northern Clan, she is also under the protection of my clan. I would suggest you watch your mouth very carefully before you say something very bad." He says glaring at him.
"My lady is just that my Lady." Logan said. "I want you to insinuate is rather vulgar."
"How do you know it's not true."
"Because I have no memories from before my dad found me."
"And if I don't believe you?" The king glares at me making me raise my eyebrow Adam
"This may come out not civil and I do apologize about that but why do I care what you think?" The look on his face made me want to laugh at him.
"My daughter has a point, Reiner." Dad said.
"What do you want Riener?" Uncle asked, moving in front of us and standing over him menacingly as the shadows clung to him making him look bigger.
"I was worried that the new lady north was conspiring with humans."
"The only conspiring I have done was keep a war from coming if they had been killed on their way to speak to us." I snap at him.
"And why would that bring war?" He asked me.
"Uh hello if they didn't make it here we would not know anything about it. And if they never made it back they would keep sending more until they said enough and started a war thinking we killed them!" I said
"Was I talking to you woman." He glared at me. That made me blink at him.
"You are questioning my actions." I said, stepping up to him. "Questioning my honor. You have better be talking to me King Riener or you will find yourself in a duel of honor with me." I spat at him.
"I see where his nephew gets it." Dad muttered.
"And who are you to dear question me?" He spat back at me.
I smile at him. "I am Lady Arcaria, Daughter of Nicodemus Arcaria, I am the First Lady the leader of the Lady knights, I am the Hatoro to King Logan, I am the Heiress of the Dragon Witches, Niece to King Varance. Who are you!?" I spat back at him holding myself high.
"And she forgot Heiress to Torant." Uncle said as he looked at his nails. "It's not like I plan on having kids." The male glared down at me.
"I am king."
"A king of a child clan." Logan said. "We truly do not need you or Queen Nightshades corporation since the law says 3 of 5. Your parent clan is the Bloodbound clan and they are the ones who will not listen to you." He said. "The reason we wanted you and your clan in this was that it was convenient. If your father and his brother were beheaded for their slander not banished, you would not be a clan head. You would be a trader's son." Logan snarls at him. "You do not walk into my home and call my lady not only a trader but a liar."
"King Logan." He growled.
"King Riener." Logan growls back. "If you wish to start a war with the outside world that is your choice but we of the northern clan will not join you.
"Nor will the Nightshade clan." Queen Breanna said.
" I won't let my people fight because of your foolishness." Nela said, glaring at him.
"And I will try to take your head if you try to start a war." Uncle Varance said.
"You would start a clan incident." King Riener snarls.
"No." Another voice came from behind us.
I was on the other side of my mother before you could breathe. "Princess Lori." I said looking at the Bloodbound princess.
"Lady Diana Arcaria." She said smiling at me. "I have heard much about you. A turned vampire to not go crazy with the Torant royal Venomline. I always was wanting to meet you." She said sitting in the chair. "Though really King Logan closes your window if you don't want air users to pop by. As for the potential Clan incident beheading the silly little King here, there wouldn't be one because a little King forgets who is in charge and truly the only one who would have anything to worry about it's not the woman you're standing in front of it's that man that's sitting beside her she's the only human one here. And since he did come in peace I can't see a reason or need to harm him. So you don't have to worry about me attacking anybody. My father, on the other hand, she may be harder to persuade but laws are laws and you have three of the old Clans in agreement so laws are lost father will have to suck it up."
"So even if we only have the three old Clans will still be okay." I asked her just because I wanted to make sure.
"Well, the law was put into place by the spies Kings or queen so yes as long as you have the first five Clans three of them have agreed on it father can't say anything. And like I said the only one here who really has anything to worry about is the actual human. Not the 3 beings that I have no idea what are."
I think we all let out a sigh of relief at that before I started speaking. "Princess Lori, this is my mother head of the Dragon witch clan Cornelia. To her right is the human diplomat Norman. Next to him is the witch Diplomat Thomas and next to Thomas is the werewolf Diplomat Tocal.
"I take it humans didn't learn their lesson?"
"No." mother agreed.
"Well this should be interesting." she said calmly .
"May I ask why you say that." I asked her
"Oh that's simple how they're always wanted to get into a war with those two came back, but since they haven't came back with a desire for a war dad he's going to be so disappointed."
"Your war-mongering father." King Ridner started can you get to finish as Princess Lori disappeared and then reappeared behind him and slapped him upside the head.
"Let's try not talk about your betters that way." I know I shouldn't find that funny laughing under my breath out of it.
"After all you fight so hard to stay out of our traditions and yet you're hurting your own children for a new tradition that really is what was that term that young man used oh yes barbaric again. If you don't want to an air users listening in on things close the door she said is taking in our shots looks I have a feeling that's more you being nosey than an actual are you sir a voice said from behind her so she does have a point if you don't want people popping into your office you should shut the window." Queen Bessie said as she shuts the window simply to make her point
"So what can I do for the Royal House of Bloodbound?" Logan asked putting himself in between Norman and the Queen.
" King Logan you do not have anything to worry about from me." her red eyes glittered at him. "After all your lady has found the loophole that our ancestors made regarding humans only a fool would break those and I'm no fool I can't say the same about my husband, but I am no fool." No one say a word to that but her daughter laughed
"And here we should have... Nevermind we will go somewhere else." Lauren said as she open the door starting to let herself and Xavier in before backing up and closing the door behind her.
"Was that a little one?" Lori asked
