I was completely lost in the world of Daniel Reid, I was not able to come out of the things that happened this morning, it's was all most time for lunch, I and Jia packed our things, took our lunch box, walked to sit in our regular place for lunch, as we both sat, I saw Olivia, walking to us with her box, Mom had packed chicken cheese sandwich with few pieces of fried chicken, while Jia bought a Chicken burger, and fruits salad, while Olivia was packed with Chinese food like, mixed fried rice, sweet and sour pepper chicken, and few chicken dumplings, as we enjoyed our meal, I told Jia and Olivia that I will be going back in a school bus, and morning I am been dropped by my Dad, as again I thought about morning, without my control I started to blush, the only face that came to my mind was, Daniel.
Olivia noticed my change first and started to taunt me by asking what happened, While Jia looked a little surprised at me, as I have not relieved to Jia anything about Daniel, actually, I had no clarity about our relationship with myself, but now it was different, I loved him.... so now I can tell her. Olivia pulled me out my thoughts and asked the reason for my blush, I said both Jia and Olivia what happened, a few days back in Brain stores, and this morning, I also took my phone, showed the bike in Daniel's DP, saying this was the bike, he bought for me, and I opened the pic of Daniel leaning on the bike, that I took today. Jia and Olivia were stunned by what I said.
Jia took my phone, had a close look at Daniel and said, "Not bad Megan, your boyfriend, looks very handsome" I will pray for your long last love, there was a hint of sadness when she said that, but I didn't notice it, Olivia started to tease me but finally hugged me to declare how happy she was for me and Daniel.
I boarded the bus in the evening to go home, Olivia was dropped and picked by her cousin, as per James brother's instruction. I thought for some time and sent a message to my Dad saying, I have boarded the bus, will reach home in another half hour, I wanted to put my phone in my pocket but thought of someone else, and sent another message to, "Dark Shadow".
Me: Hai Daniel, Where are you?
Dark Shadow: at work, anything important?
Me: Nothing much, wanted to check, I will be leading back everyday evening home by school bus, just thought to inform you.
Dark shadow: Mmm, got it, be safe.
Conversation ended.
Seriously..... No baby, No love you, nothing?????, God what I am going to do with this aloof stone man.
It's ok, I can manage, he doesn't know how to express himself, I will always be by his side, as his personal balancing ecosystem....
Seriously Megan??? Personal Balance ecosystem,,,, I chuckled at myself.
I reached home, the bus dropped me right in front of My house, I went in, said hi to my Mom, and sent a message to My Dad, saying I reached home, then I carried my bag and went to my room, put my bag on the desk, and was going to bathroom for a shower, I got an alert I took the phone to check, who had sent a message, it was Daniel.
Dark Shadow: Reached home safely.
Me: Just reached.
Dark Shadow: Good, bye.
Before I send another msg, the chat was ended, I signed and knocked my head, as I went into the bathroom to take a bath.
Days passed, our routine was the same, it was the default for Daniel to take my bag after my Dad left, and walk me to school, some days we stopped at the blind corner to talk or take me for a ride, we spoke about our families, I came to know he had three brothers, and a sister, his apartment was few blocks away from the church, his Dad was also a government official, all those sorts of things, Daniel was curious about my childhood, the things I liked to do the most, my future plans.
I told all these things to Daniel, and about my plans for the future, I said, I wanted to be into the Hotel businesses, my dream was to become an Event organiser and expert in world Cuisine. Daniel looked at me with a puzzled look on his face and asked me.
" How have you planned what you will do or want", I just smiled at him and said, "That how we are brought up, right, from a young age we should discuss and decide what we want, what we have to do for future, things like this should be our priorities, that's what my Dad says".
He didn't say anything but just dropped me at school.
Few months passed peacefully and our both happiness had no bounds. My birthday was approaching, it was at the end of Autumn, Olivia had already told Daniel, so he asked,
" Megan, What gift you want for your Birthday", I looked at him, and said,
"Daniel, gifts are given, not ordered, neither taken... do you understand".
Daniel nodded his head and smiled. "Naughty girl, always you get your way, wait one day, I will take my revenge, whatever you say I won't listen to you..."
Finishing that**he winked at me with a smirk, I was struck by his words and action, but I was a little confused by what he said, and also was satisfied with the way, he was a little expressive now...
I woke up the next morning with a big bear hug, which is so familiar to me, Ava my big sister was back, but Whyyy? all of sudden, she said, she had no leave for the next few months, and now here she's hugging me to crush me into mincemeat... I tried to push my sister, and said, "Sis get off me, I don't want to die before my Sixteenth birthday.."
Ava got up from me, squeezed my cheeks, "OMG, my little girl is going to be Sixteen this year" tears filled her eyes as she said those words, I was startled by her words, I hugged her back said, "I love you, Sis".Ava said me to come down after cleaning up and went down.
It was weekend, so no school..means no see, I got an alert on my phone, I know who it was, I took the mobile to check what this outstanding aloof stone as sent,
Dark Shadow: Woke up...
Me: Yes, just now, what are you doing... where are you now, Ava is back, I think she's here for my birthday.
Dark Shadow: Good, at gym.. take care.
chat ended... I still don't understand how he's able to send these two, three words as chat... A big knock on my head this time... God, he drives me crazy sometimes... No all the times.
