I don't know when I have fallen in love with Karen, I realized that my care for her was love in our final year of Junior High School, when a guy bullied her, tried to touch her, I felt like thousands of lighting stuck me at the same time, this feeling was very strange, she was mine and someone even dare to touch her, I was so angry and hit him and took Karen away from there, I took her to quite a place and yelled at her asking,
"Why are you so careless, don't you even know he was bullying you, how can you allow someone to touch you, Karen". I was fuming.
Karen was quiet for some time and asked me, " What's your concern Logan, because I am your Dad's best friend daughter or your neighbour, Why do you care", I was so pissed off, I dragged her to me, took her in my arms and said, "What's my concern, my concern is that I like you, and your mine.....Karen

I nodded my head looking straight into her eyes and said, "I love you" Karen. I mean it.
Karen hugged me, buried her face in my chest and said, "I have waited to hear this, from you for year's you idiot".
We were in love with each other but dared not to confront, but this incident was an ice breaker, We decided to keep our relationship in cover, till we completed our education, but now what we were going to do, as I walked out of my house, texted Karen to keep calm, and ensured her we will see, what to do, I bought some snacks Karen liked and went back home.
"Logan" come to study, my Dad called. I gave the bag to my Mom, told her, "Mom, there are some snacks, give it to all", as I was walking out of the kitchen, Megan said, " to all" seriously brother what a great love on all today.
I gave her a coarse look, telling her to shut up, but that little devil will never listen, I don't know when she as closed her mouth, maybe only the time was when she was sick in the hospital.
I shook my head and walked to study, Dad gave me some document, it looked like a deposit book, "Logan, this is for you to en-cash, this amount is for your admission".
I took it said ok Dad, and came down, by that time, My Mom as severed the snacks, I and Dad walked to the living room and sat, I just glanced at Karen, she looked very unhappy, I was able to understand her, but was helpless, as we sat, suddenly my Dad asked,

We both choked now after a few seconds of coughing, I asked, Mom what are talking about. My mom came to my side,
"Oh, so now I have to think about what I talk.. yea, yea, I understand the more importance you give the others now".
I was confused about what to say next, Megan, that little devil opened her mouth and said, "Mom, stop it, poor children are scared by you". She laughed heartily,
Uncle Sam and aunt Su walked to Karen and said, "You're our only daughter, will we do something that hurts you, dear". I was totally confused now, I looked at everyone in the room, except me and Karen all were smiling, before I understand what was going on, My Mom gave her chain in my hand and said,
"Hello, hero put this in my daughter in law's neck now, official engagement date we will figure out after your admissions".
I and Karen were shocked, by what was happening but we were so happy.
I know the only person who did this was, this Little devil who stood beside me holding my hand and smiling like an angel.

Logan went out, as we were talking about the marriage allies of Karen and Paul's son, I got a message notification on my mobile, I picked to see it was from Megan, I looked around to see her sitting on the swing her regular place, in the garden. I opened the message, " Dad, you and uncle Sam come out, I have something to say you both, I asked Sam for a walk to the garden with me, as we reached the garden, Megan jumped out from the swing, and came to hold my hand, we walked to sit down near the tea table, as we sat, Megan said,
"Dad, I have to say you both something, please don't get angry",
I and Paul looked at Megan with a puzzled look, while she said, "Dad, Uncle Sam", Logan and Karen like each other for years, they wanted to complete their education before saying it you both, their both don't want to bring any rift between you two friends. Please consider their relationship, she pleaded...
I didn't know what to say, as I looked at Paul, even he was confused, but I said, "ok dear, let us Elders discuss it, I want you to take Karen to your room", Megan nodded her head and went in, she took Karen to her room, to show her works.
I and Paul came back to the living room, called all, and said what Megan told us, all were surprised, but Siaya laughed and said, "is it true Adam, Brother Paul and Su if you don't have any other plans, We will be the happiest family to take Karen as our Family member".
"What do say", I asked Paul, he agreed too with a smile, Su hugged my wife with a tear in her eyes, Mothers...
We wanted to surprise our kids now, and so we just teased and taunted them for some time, then declared our acceptance to their love. Logan's surprise look was worth it when his mom gave him the chain, asking him to put it in Karen's neck.
We all had our lunch, I will be happy if, I find a good boy for my elder daughter as Karen, but the thing that surprised me today was Megan, when did this little monkey of mine as grown-up so much to discuss the relationships, she actually did this today, all this happiness today is because of her, she's very different and difficult than other two children of ours, She was holding her brother laughing, teasing them, she looked so cute, that innocent smile on her face was heavenly, I will destroy anyone who tries to take that from her.....
