Grey's POV,
"Have you found your mate yet?" It was just a mere casual question that anyone could have asked, but that question let loose all the self-control I had been trying to exercise for a few minutes now.
**a few minutes earlier**
When I first walked into the dining area, I was offered a sit by the Alpha who was already settled in the dining area before I got there.
"Oh, there you are," he said with a small smile. "Come sit over here," he announced pointing at the seat that was by the right side of where he was seated.
I walked over to him and smiled a little before sitting.
"You don't need to feel intimidated," he says with a laugh. "I'm not about to interrogate you, I'm sure something must have happened to bring you over here," he says nonchalantly, and I knew he was probably talking about the fact that Iā Ash rather, came here without prior notice or an invite.
