When my eyes widened after realizing what my father had said, it wasn't out of fear, it was out of surprised when I realized he was talking about the same person who literally saved my life.
I know this because Lucas told me when I spoke with him on the phone. And yes I did find the time to call him to amidst all the shitty stuff going on right now.
I had promised to do so, so I had to keep my promise, did I have to do it when I did, well no, but then I kinda needed a little distraction, everything was weighing down on me, plus I've been thinking if Shiela and her brother who I had learned was the Alpha.
The same Alpha my father was saying was here right now. I had thought I was never going to get the chance to thank him properly for saving me even without knowing who I was.
I knew he didn't know who I was because Lucas told me he was asked to save someone he didn't even know although he didn't really know who he was saving.
