Sniffia immediately noticed the unexpected fall of Peirce, her eyes went round with her sudden movement she rushed to him waking both the two little girls on her thighs.
"What have you done to him?!" Sniffia yelled as she suddenly and effortlessly ripped the vines tightly tied around the large rock on Peirce's body, moved the large stone off his back, kneeled and turned him over to her face. "Peirce!" She called.
"I … Is my punch of iniquity that strong?..." Node asked himself, staring confusedly at his right squeezed fist.
"What are you even saying?!" Sniffia yelled at him.
"Hey!" Node yelled back at Sniffia, "my punch didn't even connected, talkless a graze! Also this is not the first time he suddenly go off like this, Foxy!"
"You?!--" Sniffia narrowed her venomous little eyes with a brief groan, Node jaw muscled ticked for a moment then sighed.
"I'm alright, I just felt a little tingling in my chest for a while," Peirce pointed out, raising his upper body up from Sniffia's arms with one hand on his chest and the other on his sweaty forehead shading his eyes from the scorching sun above while looking to Node's direction with an obviously forced smile on his face.
Node glanced at Peirce, both faces were damped in sweat.
"See. I knew so, you worried just for nothing, Foxy." Node said with a grudgeful turn.
Sniffia stared at Peirce, she listened to how deeply yet clearly his heart beats, lowered her eyes to the scar on Peirce's belly then unknowingly to Peirce she gently rested her ear on his bare chest after gently shifting his hand off from it.
"Are you sure?" She asked, her eyes still fixated on Peirce's brown eyes as the side of her face fully rested on his sweaty chest.
"I'm fine, seriously." Peirce stood up, embarrassed. He stared earnestly at Node who angrily looked away just as he took a few steps away.
Peirce only watched before noticing the large rock including the ripped vines near his feet about picking them up, Sniffia suddenly clutched his right wrist as her tone became much more sharper and serious.
"Then. Under this very hot sun. It bothers me, Peirce. Your body exudes extreme cold starting from the scar to where your heart is located, beating irregularly yet in a normal states than any other times you passed out." Sniffia revealed.
Node eyes narrowed thinking what was Sniffia blabbing about meanwhile Peirce paused as he couldn't face Sniffia.
"Are you feeling okay, Peirce?" Sniffia asked while still kneeling on the grassy floor, her blond hair sways in the wind, in a shower of little brown clover leaves just as few of them were seen in between her hair strands and everyone's hair there.
Her face appeared more desiring to know the whole truth precisely about the odd things happening to and around Peirce and why? Peirce for once didn't face her way as he was questioned.
The girl known to be the last of her kind didn't let go of his wrist either.
She was ready to believe anything that came out of Peirce's mouth given the answers for every strange syndromes starting from how he got the scar.
She then spoke softly, "Say something…"
Pierce eyes averted, should he had told them the truth about every time he'd passed out he sees the same kind of dream or what should a naive boy specified such scenario as; An enclosed eerie space, a small black cage filled with dimly glowing crystal-blue bubbles slowly and randomly floating around and in the midst of it all was a lonely and frustrated looking girl in white plain gown and a frizzy hair which veiled most of her face with a sullen gaze laying on the exposed ground of frosty looking icicles plant hoping one day she would leave such confinement.
Meanwhile Lazarus stood above still in his position right on the large branch of the large clover tree towering just in front of them observing the teenagers as he ate a large yellowish berry like fruit in both hands. Then he deeply exhaled threw the left over behind him
"... Let's call it a day, kids. luckily enough, we're more closer than you think." Lazarus looked to his west.
Node eyes beamed, finally he would see his relatives and friends at the village vividly ignoring the tension between his two closed friends. Albeit they'll have a slack-jawed moment knowing I'm still alive.
Soon after his hilarity, Node questioned Lazarus with a smile on his face.
"Closer to our village?" Then he looked around not familiar with the turf around him, "uhm… Where are we again?" Node raised his face up to where Lazarus stood.
"--Closer to your village where I will reconcile with my dear wife, of course." Lazarus replied with a laugh as he landed in style in their front, raised his face to them. "And welcome to the forest once known as the Giants' domain."
"What the?! Your wife?! Giants?!" Node shouted just as the two little girls while holding each other's hand walked up to Sniffia, one after the other removing the brown clover leaves glued on her blond hair as she lets go of Peirce wrist. Still Peirce didn't say a word. He just stood, face lowered contemplating if he should tell or not.
Back at the Humane kingdom, meanwhile in the thick of the whole crisis, Wren was having a vagary encounter within her consciousness. In it she opened her eyes widely as though she just woke up from a nightmare, she raised her upper body up only to be seen in a more familiar space, a raw smoggy atmosphere, the sharpness of the precipitated cold air, the frozen walls and floors made the wintry surroundings in a solidified phase. She raised her blue eyes while touching her bald head thinking it might grew again in the zone then she felt an aberrant character, standing in front of her. An image of a boy, glowing in pale, pure, teal aqua-green just staring right back at her immediately illuminating the whole place in primo color, she blinked then spoke unfazed,
"hello… and who are you? Are you… the boy. I should be looking for?" She extended her hand, the glowing image turned as he walked away slowly from Wren, suddenly, the green glowing image of a boy picked his pace and ran farther then stopped few distance away and cowered.
"Huh?" Wren stood up and walked bare footed on the icy floor, she stood near the cowered green glowing image,
"Afraid…?" She looked to every direction of where she was thinking he might be running away from something, on seeing no one but only her and the boy, she glanced back at the boy about putting her hand on his back.
"Am I the one you are afraid of?"
"No, he's lost." A familiar slivery voice echoed within the frozen walls, Wren's eyes widened with a pause as the glowing image suddenly scattered into glowing aqua-green marbles which rolled around the icy floor then dissolved into the thin cold air.
Wren only watched, suddenly saw herself dressed in plain gown standing in front of a frozen reflective large wall, so high it looked to be an endless wall, her reflection on the frozen large walls revealed her bald hair was now a frizzy long hair.
Her cheeks flushed, her brows shot up.
The surroundings suddenly shook a little,
"Why I'm I here, again? What is all these?!" Her voice echoed as cracks were later seen on the frozen wall.
"What audacity?" The voice answered back, "you are the one who came to my space, here I was thinking I finally found a friend of understanding-- that's by the way. We don't have much time, previously on our last meeting we spoke about the boy is who you would meet."
"Would? And… where can I find him… I don't even know how he looks like? If that was him earlier. All I saw were just glowing green lights--Wait a minute I remember you once said,"
Wren immediately held her nose as she jokingly yet sarcastically spoke mimicking the slivery voice that spoke to her, "it's already been fated. With or without your actions you two are connected together.'
"--You have to worry,"
"And why is that, oh voice of the void~" She chuckled as she dropped her hand.
"They are changing everything and I don't know how and who exactly. Listen, when you eventually have the opportunity to leave those castle's walls your father impound you in don't hesitate to seize the opportunity to look for the boy, it's for your own good, leave this place, become as strong as possible, never be a big fish in a small pond rejoicing every little glory it acquired."
"--For your information, My father never impound me or what ever ill thoughts you have in mind you think he did to me. So watch your cold tongue towards my Dad or else." Wren's blue eyes flared.
"Oh… Bye for now."
"Huh?" Wren blinked.
"Sorry if I stayed any longer those fools out there will know I conversed with you and every seconds we spent here is only a tenth of a second in your reality…"
"Huh?" Wren looked around confusedly as the voice deteriorated from the frore void where she stood.
In reality, the princess unconscious body was still seen in the air caused by Luna's heavy fist with blood sprouting out from her mouth and nose then her whole eyes suddenly glowed in sapphire, after came a beam of glossy blue light shone around her in an instant.
The drops of blood froze, she fickle one of her fingers as words coldly came out of her mouth in cold vapor.
"ICE V."
Thick frozen mountains of glacier clustering together aroused from the splitting ground below creating a massive force down to where Luna stood, freezing half of her body in glaze ice as it hit through the petrified yet weirdly mirthful spectators.
The arena shook with the sudden large mass of frozen mountains along the arctic atmosphere overwhelming the whole place in trepidity, the mountain glaciers were so large and sturdy, it effortlessly created its own terrain, breaking out from the wooden building as it extended, firstly rambling to the eastern streets of the Humanes then ranged across the kingdom until it reached the sea of many miles through the destroyed frozen walls.
The mighty, sturdy glaciers mountain grew more larger, the sea froze followed screams, agonies and resentment spreading within the streets along the alarming chiming of the bell and hails falling from the cloudy dark sky upon the Humane kingdom. It happened so fast no one ever saw it coming.
Gage watched from where he was, dumbfounded by the sight of it all.
"How?..." He muttered.
Inside the secret room at the underground fight club. Suddenly, the Godmother of the Caneloveft's eyes went up the roof above them as it cracked and crumbled, slowly cold vapor and thin ice layers oozed out from the cracks on the walls and floor into the room.
We surely have enough people to hold what ever potency going rampage in place out there but why does it seems like it won't hold? She mused over as she was seated not knowing the horrors which were happening above.
"Ezinne Caneloveft… you can't possibly hold her potency. No one can. Unfortunately, before the roof crushes you all here, you lot will die along with your love ones living within and near the range of her potency."
The two-faced Immortal in black clothing looked straight to Ezinne Caneloveft.
"Seems, you're all alone yet again."
"Ha. I laughed in wonder. Who are you to decide when and how this old body of mine dies? Now!" She screamed.
Unanticipatedly, the immortal was hit by the invisible doorman however she transfigured into red mist that goes out through the small crack in the roof above.
Immediately, Big Tee held the crumbling roof in place then nodded to the direction of Ezinne, his size grew more larger tearing down the roof while safely sheltering the beings laying on the cold floor as they slowly gained back their consciousness.
Ezinne Caneloveft observed everyone there including Bryan already succumbing to the sudden decreasing in temperature around the destroyed glaciated environment then she looked straight to where the two faced immortal was levitating in the cold night sky with a smirk.
"You and I have a score to settle." She fumed silently.
Skylark sprung up from the cold as he should from his hungover removing the damaged glazed door and debris that fell on him, for he was already freezing to death, his hair, body and both his wings were now frosty, slightly shivering with a gritted teeth.
He slowly flapped his lemon wings falling off layers of ice pellets stuck on it then wrapped his wings around himself feeling a little bit cozy.
Then his eyes registered shock.
"The princess?!" He looked around what he could see was unrecognizable. The large mountain glaciers blocking his view, he appeared like an ant in the midst of it all.
The destroyed frozen walls, debris from the ground covered in glaze ice and snow.
Is that an arm sticking out from there?!
He blinked.
"Where I'm I?..."
Outside the destroyed wooden building Ezinne Caneloveft was seen fighting the two faced Immortal with every frozen debris thrown at the immortal controlled by her potency of telekinesis as they whistled around the mountains of ice and snow, few miles away Gage, June was seen helping the victims caught in the mountains of ice however Dante was no where to be seen, suddenly a large sound was heard from above as part of the icy mountain melts he swiftly looked up.
It was the King without his white flame on flitting to where the very source of the glaciers were converging from.
"Songbird!" Randall yelled.
The princess was seen hovering horizontally still in her glossy blue form unaware of what was going on for she was still in her vagary consciousness.
Wren looked behind, she vividly heard her father calling her name. She blinked looked around the raw smoggy atmosphere.
"Why is it taking too long to leave this estranged place."
Suddenly she felt the humid air as she looked around, the frozen walls and floors melted with the increasing fieriness surrounding the whole place.
Her eyes closed with an inhale on opening them back.
She noticed herself in the air dumbfounded, the sound of the king's voice calling her over and over again became more clearer and louder. she immediately looked down witnessed the horrors happening below her knowing what her potency had done unintentionally to the whole kingdom.
Her face went white in fear, she can't believed her eyes.
Many of the Royal Guards were in attempt to rescue the victims. Azra and Aquila on the other hand saved many of his kind who followed him including two Humanes who were almost enveloped in the icy structures surprisingly the Humanes Azra saved were Abbey's wife and son.
Above the princess was seen now wrapped in the arms of his father who was refraining her from looking down.
"Don't… there's nothing to see… songbird."
Wren eyes brimmed. It massively struck her to the bone, the pains, sufferings and cries from everyone caught in the way of her potency increased her anxiety.
She felt weakened.
"… I didn't…" She lamented.
Jared appeared also many distance behind them floating in the air observing the King with her daughter while scanning through the mountains of ice that stood at great heights in the cold wind.
Few of the Humanes one way or the other barely escaped all because of their potency however the Humane-made catastrophe greatly affects the non-Humanes living among Us.
Kudos to those who escaped before it hit them because it happened in a twinkle of an eye.
He looked to the King still holding the sniffling princess in his arms.
This is… still really bad.
