Chapter 100 - Helpful urges 2.

Instantly the creepers charged at them, on the other hand the tribe's guards stood their ground taking each and every creeper down effortlessly while Frankenstein alone took on the tallest creeper.

Fighting creatures like the rampaging creepers was never a mismatched to the tribe's guards because this sort of combat at the desert of coruscation was nothing to them compared to the mindless kinds of Beast creatures roaming around often eliminated for expanding the territory of the tribe.

Dryad's uncle with few of his followers came out of the recent portal Frankenstein's subject produced, wearing white clothings and in masks without any runes engraved on it possessing weapons different from what they used in their kingdom to misrepresent who they truly were.

He looked at Frankenstein's brightened face pointing to Peirce observing the fight in fear while he stood behind Sniffia boldly holding onto her dagger.

Dryad's uncle nodded.

"The skinny looking boy over there?" He groaned a little. Looked at his followers. "Bear in mind! We have nothing to do at this region other than to abduct the kid and leave here once that happens!"

"Aye, Sir!" They all yelled and slowly walked around the fight between the tribe's guards, Frankenstein and the creepers.

Dryad's uncle folded his arms.

Presently, Godmother Mimosa, my Brother Willian and our Mother the Queen are away to the emergency summit at the Water Nymphs Kingdom. This is the only secluded chance we have to take the child however I don't know why Frankenstein ordered to go all out in capturing just only one kid, well from the injuries he had, the boy alone did that much to him so it's given. Dryad's uncle considered while watching the fight and his followers movements.

Right… about the tribe's guards, I was told they are equal to the great hunters of our kingdom in strength and combat experiences, let alone they are the only tribe in this desert that knows it's secrets and having the upper hands in extraction and trading their uniquely pink salts to kingdoms far and near including we the Forest Nymphs. It will be dreadful if we annihilate everyone here. Honestly I think the creepers alone are worthy to scare them off this place... it gives me no reason but to fear the worst.

Amidst the battle one of the hunters rushed to Peirce about grabbing him so as to teleport him from the desert without anyone knowing. Peirce suddenly dodged him, wondering who he was.

"Huh?" The stunned Hunter blinked on how fast the boy reacted.

"No, you won't," Sniffia turned thrusting her dagger at him, he teleported few meters away from them, still her dagger slashed him.

He looked at the cut on his side with a trickle of blood, rolling down from it.

"… …"

He knows he blew his cover by teleporting away from the teenaged girl, if she really knows who he was, what was needed to be done was to end her before she revealed his identity to the tribe.

Every one of the tribe's guards with Lazarus were all focused on the rampaging creepers not aware of the new group that just stealthily penetrated through.

Sniffia expression closed up, from the way he teleported. They are definitely the Forest Nymphs!

"Why?!" Stormed towards the hunter before getting herself surrounded by the remaining hunters leaving Peirce alone standing, now hiding behind a palm tree, her eyes slowly widened, knowing Peirce might be their main target on the assumption they were working with Frankenstein.

The blond haired, teenaged girl needs to fight her way out of there.

In terms of fighting a party these large favorably Sniffia was accustomed to it all under the teachings of Lord Jared and the skills she had in handling her dagger. She could do that much not like her two close friends who hadn't been in a battle like this or experienced any of such.

Many of the hunters came at her and after Peirce; she slashed them all down.

"Go hide yourself, Peirce!" She yelled while she fought to break free from them.

"Sniffia… ?" Peirce slowly moved to her, stretching forth his hand.

"This is not your concern as you can see they are no match for me—so run far from here and hide yourself, I will come for you after I'm done with them!" Sniffia yelled once more.

Peirce stood still, swallowed, sweating all over, reluctant to run away. He can't just leave and do nothing. About speaking.

"If you are caught by them after everything so far, I won't ever forgive you. So run!"

Peirce clenched his teeth; if only I could... help--I will help, she's alone but… I'm the one they are after—suddenly two hunters teleported around Peirce about grabbing him.

Peirce squirmed around them subconsciously.

Petrifying the two hunters with the abnormal ways he dodges.

"Huh? How did—"

"What the!"

Sniffia noticed them. Threw her dagger at one, hitting him from behind, he thudded to the ground. The other hunter took a glimpse at Sniffia in rage.

Sniffia glazed at Peirce with her venomous little eyes, Peirce blinked while staring at her then swallowed before jolting.

The hunter turned to the running boy, smirked behind his mask and teleported.

Sniffia face contorted as she fought the remaining hunters with her bare fists then reached out to her dagger thrusted at the back of the hunter laying on the ground. She raised her dagger to them slightly breathing heavily, the hunters cautiously stood panting revealing few slashes on their body through their clothes, soaked in red.

"She's just a girl just take her down," A huntress voiced. "if you guys can't do it… then leave the girl to me."

A lady in mask and in white clothing like the hunters while holding a skean walked to them as they gave way. She stopped staring at Sniffia. "Move aside, the boy is ours."

Sniffia, exhaled brushed her blond hair behind her back, her face roughly covered in blood, looked at the lady with her venomous little orange eyes and spoke;

"Over my dead body!"

Peirce ran through the bypaths between the wigwams before he slipped into one of the wigwams, gasping.

The wigwam Peirce entered was dark, the reflections of the moon hardly went through then two other hunters came in after, smiling behind their masks.

"Ah~ because of you, boy this tribe is done for; there is no way in hell everyone will survive this night, the creepers are all over the place." One told.

"Do you know what we got through before coming here, we fought those creepers also!" And the other added.

Peirce retreated back while staring around for an exit other than the one in his front or where to run to.

He was trapped!

Suddenly an elbow thwacked against their throat, they fell trying to breath and coughed.

Node came in, breathing heavily, looked at Peirce staring to the ground then he followed his eyes.

Did he do this? Now he is hiding his strange powers from us.

Then the two hunters timidly teleported out of the room.

Node sighed looked at Peirce.

Peirce shook his head. "It wasn't me…"

"Where is Sniffia? I can't find her." Node exhaled.

"Perhaps, fighting those monsters outside." A voice spoke within the darker corner of the wigwam where they both were.

Peirce and Node looked at each other's mouth while using their eyes to ask who among them just spoke, then a shadowy figure walked behind Peirce. Node raised his eyes to the shadowy figure as Peirce slowly turned, after the shadowy figure glowed in Beige.

"What are you boys hiding here for, if a teenaged girl like Sniffia is also fighting to protect this village."

It was the pregnant wife of Jamal, she was seen hiding her five kids under the ground created for the sore purpose to protect them from any surprise attack from the Beast creatures in the desert.

Peirce and Node just stood confusedly staring at the pregnant woman as she hid her last child. An inhumane living among Beast beings, what was more surprising was she was married to one.

"Go out there and fight before I kick both of you out." She uttered.

Peirce and Node swallowed. "Yes, Ma'am!"

"… Actually I was asked to run…" Peirce said with a lowered face.

"Can… I get maybe a lance and darts?" Node asked.

Successfully killing off the tallest creeper, Lazarus rushed to the biggest being swinging at him while holding Frankenstein on his shoulder.

"Will you quit playing around and drop that dead bag on your shoulder and fight me head on!"

"If you wish." Frankenstein said while on the shoulder. Good keeping the Shadow Inhumane distracted and allowing them to do what they came here for is highly recommended.

"Oh, he's the one talking for you—It came to my notice, you never talked the last time we fought. Were you raised from the dead also like those creepers?"

He gently dropped Frankenstein without responding then they both clashed as the ground shook!

Peirce and Node came out of the wigwam, befuddled.

"Have you ever been in this kind of situation before?" Node questioned, scanning the whole place, it was silent than they expected under the full moon sparing it's reflections over them and everything around.

"…well I did… all the time, running away from something this terrifying was always the answer… I guess." Peirce answered as he rambled around the place rolling his eyes to every directions.

Node touched Peirce from behind, Peirce yelped.

Calm down dude, it's me. Node rotated Peirce to him.

"--Their target is you, all along, walk around to distract those kidnappers I'll hide here and shoot my shot when those things come after you. Just don't walk farther away. " Node advised showing the lance and darts in his hands.

Peirce nodded subconsciously and moved around while Node hid himself near a wigwam.

"There is he!" One of the hunters shouted from the top of the wigwam In front.

Peirce was startled as he spotted her.

Then two hunters rushed to him including the one at the top.

They had him cornered.

"No where to run to now." One said.

Peirce swallowed while he stood still. They must have passed through Sniffia before coming here or teleported without ever meeting her. Sniffia... is she alright?

He rolled his eyes to where Node was. Now, will be a good time to act, Node.

"Huh, why are you looking that way. Something must be there, you, go check what that is." One of them ordered.

Oh my bubbles, what have I done?! Peirce fretted in his thoughts.

The other one sighed as he cautiously moved closer behind the wigwam, Node was hiding in.

Unknowingly three darts stung his neck,

"Huh, what just sting me?!" He looked at the darts while removing one before he dropped down, sleeping away his sorrow.

The two hunters turned then Node rolled out from his hiding. Gosh, I never know the dormant-venom of a certain Beast creature is this strong after pinches of salt were added into it. Cool!

Shot few darts with his mouth from the lance at the hunters unfortunately the hunters blocked some and deflected some with their weapons.

"A teenager! Where are your parents?! You're in bigger trouble for doing this to one of us— huh?!" one of them turned to Peirce as his hands was right at their back with darts stinging them with it.

"Oh, sh—" they both fell to the ground with their eyes closed.

"I-it worked…" Peirce stuttered standing between the masked beings laying on the ground.

"Why not. Simple tricks like this are meant for elite beings like them." Node moved to him.

They looked at each other's eyes for a while before stooping. Who could they be?

Peirce and Node removed their masks to see who they really were only to see odd marks on their neck.

"Do you know who they are?" Node questioned.

"Never see them before… hmmm…" Peirce puts his hands on his chin, thinking.

Node erected, stared at Peirce.

"The crazy being in white coat and now beings with marks on their necks. Peirce, please be sincere what did they actually want from you? are you some kind of—" He sighed, "that question will be for later, let's look for Sniffia before anything else."

Suddenly a figure smashed into one of the wigwam near them, appeared to be a sturdy creeper, snarling as dark fumes came out from it's nostrils.

"Huh?" Node gasped, Peirce flinched.

The creatures from the bounty hunters city! Node rolled his eyes to Peirce as they both steadily retreated.

"Peirce now is your turn, like how you destroyed those large glasses to nothingness at that weird chamber… and stop hiding those powers of yours, we are at death's door..."

Peirce nodded. He clenched his fist. Back at the wigwam they came out from the pregnant woman watches from where she stood.

An green aura formed around Peirce's right arm, then he stretched it at the creeper.

… Nothing happened.

Peirce's and Node's face went blank.

"D-do you now believe me about not hiding my powers from you… I was just lucky then." Peirce whispered to Node.

"We are so dead." Node gasped.

The pregnant woman, gently slapped her forehead.

"Unlucky Idiots."

The creeper took a step to them, snarling with drool slipping from its mouth down to the sand.

"I have no choice but to step in." The pregnant woman said about moving.

The creeper halted, something was wrong and it felt it soon after It's eyes widened as it's body slowly deteriorated from his sides leaving only it's two legs.

"What the?!" the pregnant woman was surprised. "… how did he do that?!"

"We survived!" Peirce and Node rejoiced as their knees where almost failing them.

"It was more scary than the Torzillas." Peirce exhaled, fell on his knees on their accomplishment, Node held his shaking hand as he forced a smile on his face.

"Don't celebrate just yet, we have company." The pregnant woman said behind them, they were first spooked by her sudden appearance. Then she rolled her eyes to every corner as the sound of snarls was heard followed by an unknown mist quietly looming around them just as the scene became silvery illuminated from the moon above then many creepers appeared altogether, fixated at them only.

"Boy, that was some cool move you did there. Can you do what you did before?" She asked.

"Because that might be your tickets out of here."

Node puts his lance on his mouth while Peirce looked at his hand as he tightly squeezed it, slightly giving off green aura.

"I… guess…"

"Good, let's end it all then." She said putting her hand below her belly.

What could possibly go wrong, a pregnant woman and two confused boys against the impassionate creepers…

... An handicapped match indeed!
