Most of the time, the decisions and expressions we take towards each other depends on how well our memories will last, yet expectations between both outspoken it all.
Randall walked around the kingdom while carrying covered Priscilla in his arms right after telling the Ladies a little that happened on the land of the Forest Nymphs.
Seeing the King in that state, the Royal Guards all wondered.
Was it to honor her?
Did she wished for it before her death?
Will I get the same treatment if I'm no more?
Nobody knows, on the other hand within the walls they had lost an admirable Female from the Aurora clan.
June, Beth, the Commander and many Royal Guards with their helmets lowered, in their various colored cape surrounding the few Male Aurorae who willingly came into the Kingdom, all walked behind their King.
Many of the Humanes with other beings moved outside their various homes whispering to each other on what was going on, and why everyone's faces were gloomy, on seeing their King.
They all gasped.
"Is the King...!"
They bowed their heads as he walked by.
The Commander took a glimpse at June, she and everyone there were definitely worried about their King.
June sighed with her face lowered behind.
"Your highness— as we speak the other group of the Male Aurorae are with the Female Aurorae. We deployed some Royal Guards to check and report back to us on the issues there however we are still waiting for their reports…" June reported.
The King didn't say a word as he walked, June stopped what she was saying looked at Beth to her belly. Did she know, herself? Then she looked at the right arm of the King appeared to be a viney-right arm .
"Your Highness—for flying this far from the Nymphs Kingdom you need to rest…"
"—No." Randall answered looking straight ahead,
"I've done many great mistakes in life and... this is one of them… the saddest truth about all this was... I never learn from it."
"… and what is it your highness..." June questioned.
"... I never put in a great mood towards the people I love not until they are no more…" He answered reflecting on what he had experienced in the past.
Was Priscilla one of them…? June wondered … The King mostly care about?
Probably, as a King you need to have a great concern about everyone and everything in your Kingdom.
Beth lowered her face as she whispered;
"But that's not true…"
Walking farther into the Kingdom an eerie silence took over for a while.
"Where is my songbird?" Randall broke in.
"She's in her room protected by the Royal Guards in blue cape, your highness." June answered.
Behind June, the few Male Aurorae who followed, observed their surroundings, some murmured to their selves how large and mighty the houses and roads were and their leader still in a baby-form sleeping peacefully in the arms of one of them.
"My King, if I may…" The Commander stared at June once again, the Divine Humane of time nodded for her to go on with the words she was about to say to Randall.
Under all this circumstances she wasn't sure if the Male Aurorae walking behind her were the kind who willingly gave up their plan of invasion and followed them into the kingdom as if nothing happened.
"… Did we do the right thing?" The Commander asked.
"Allowing them into the very heart of the kingdom without thoroughly checking and interrogating them first since they only stomped here with strong acrimony towards the Female Aurorae and the Humanes living within the walls, together with those that remained stagnant at the gate might also have their own detrimental motives."
"…You sounded like you have forgotten why this Kingdom was created." Randall countered.
The Commander bowed her head.
"I'm sorry my King, I have—"
"Your apology accepted. Let it be simplified as this. The Kingdom of the Humane, my Fathers founded is under the epitome of caring with service for every race in respect of where they come from; In here every one is safe, equally well treated and respected. You know what I'm saying?"
"A-affirmative, My King. I will never ask such a belittled question ever again…" The Commander fretted.
"Don't be, ask anything if you're in doubt, I welcome all kinds of questions. As the King, I've done myself a little help to come in at a night like this, personally taking the Male Aurorae around the Kingdom and… at the same time honoring one of us that have left us…"
One could tell the sadness on the King's face as he spoke those words.
"This is also an opportunity to go to the Female Aurorae… meeting the Elderess as well as Priscilla's youngest sister who 's also the personal Royal Guard of my daughter about his little brother being alive and where she kept the male children she transported to the Elders… I think that might change the mood a bit…"
He looked into Beth's eyes in a way of asking how was she doing without a word, Beth who could understand the King's glance slightly bowed her head with a quick smirk meaning she was doing fine.
Then her eyes slightly dilated contemplating what she heard earlier from the King.
"Priscilla… so that was her name…" She whispered, her face lowered. On what actually happened between those two.
June glanced at her then to the King.
"Will it be alright, going to the Female Aurorae right now? I told them earlier about the Male Aurorae coming to invade however, the Elderess replied, if they actually came for them, it is never our problem to deal with." June sighed.
"… I might actually rule that out because we are all part of the special beings living within this governed walls. In one way or the other they will need our help—" Randall said.
Suddenly something strange thudded the ground in front of Randall.
Every Humanes around and other beings in front of their homes were startled.
The King stopped as well as everyone behind him staring at the smoke emitting from the ground in front.
Within the smoke. A shadowy long and fluffy tail slowly wangled behind a brawny figure stood, many meters high appearing as a black fur fully covering it's body; deadly claws poking out from the crackled paws and feet; its long curved fangs were seen while it slightly groaned under the full moon fully lit just behind him in the sky.
Never had any of them seen the moon that big and bright before.
"Are you the King of this kingdom?" The brawny figure spoke in a deep tone yet in a pleasant manner.
Surprisingly his presence wasn't intimidating at all. The atmosphere felt calmer.
Randall sighed; Not again. He thought.
"Yes." He revealed as he stared into brawny figure's murderous crystal eyes as the King reflected on it.
"And who are you? Are you looking for a place to stay? Well, you are definitely welcome..."
As Randall spoke many of the Royal Guards gathered around the brawny figure at alert.
"Ohhh~ Your words are not going well with their actions." The black-furred figure related, staring straight at Randall seems he doesn't mind the Royal Guards surrounding him as a threat.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Randall apologized, "this is just a normal routine from the Guards enough to protect their King from harm. Don't mind any of it and speak why you're here."
"On that matter," the black-furred figure rolled its eyes down to who was on the King's arms. "I'm truly sorry for your loss. Someone dear to you…?"
Randall never answered then the brawny figure continued.
"Won't be staying long--" He bowed his head. "We only came here to see. The Princess."
Everyone eyes widened Including Randall.
"… What for…?" Randall asked before rolling his eyes to his sides, perceived the strange being in front of him was never alone.
In an instant, the bright full moon turned red as many small nocturnal blackish-flying creatures gathered around the sky above them then it rained down red liquid from the sky for a short while before the flying creatures landed together on top of a house forming a figure cowering, then it raised its body up revealing to be a being in black coat upon a black long jacket embodied in unfamiliar patterns as its eyes glowed in white.
This time around the atmosphere was very suffocating as a thick red fog enveloped them much more opposite than the first encounter.
"Because the world needs her." The figure on the roof told.
"T-this smell—it smells like blood!" One of the Male Aurorae said from behind while looking up.
The night clouds were red, including the full moon.
Everyone also inspected what was on their body. It was the truth! What actually fell on them was blood but how was it possible?
The King looked at the being on the roof, ignoring everything around.
"I will ask again, what for?"
"Lets not rush things here. As my buddy told you earlier. We only come for a visit no more no less just do as he speaks."
June looked at the being on the roof, about manifesting her potency on the being on the roof.
"Nah~Nah~Nah~ We don't do such here most especially using your vigors on someone like me who existed before any of your forefathers did. Is very much prohibited because I tend to feed on the blood of the living of those like you who underestimates me with such level of potency or whatsoever you call it now." The figure in black coat said behind June, seeing his grayish-red skin and his two fangs coming out from his mouth.
Her eyelids lowered, wasn't scared at all. Her thought was they were from the Beast kingdom.
Randall rolled his eyes back.
The strange figure was too fast for any eyes could catch on even to the King it was more faster than the being outside this world he fought earlier at the Forest Nymphs Kingdom.
He sensed both strange beings among them were never from the Beast Kingdom. But from where?
Then the Royal Guards around June moved as they pierced the being using their potency without hesitations.
The being laughed as she bled.
"This is what I'm talking about, #•π¶!" She called the brawny figure's name.
Everyone blinked and were baffled.
They didn't understand, maybe heard clearly the last word that came out of her mouth.
"They attacked first. So, ∆°|¶# won't blame me if it was self defense, right?"
the strange being dipped a finger inside one of the bleeding holes on her body then licked it.
"Now whose blood should I drain first?!" She laughed.
Beth on the other hand held Randall by his armored shoulder while staring at the huge being infront of her as she slowly gulped.
They could be dangerous and more stronger than any other being she had ever encountered.
