On the monumental oval shaped arena all eyes were on the EXTERMINATOR, many of whom were able to acknowledged the level of creation forged by the Inhumane. Unfortunately no Inhumane was present at this given day. Then Flavius came forward ready for the armor to be put on his body, the praetorian guard detached the Red-blooded armour as it was.
On suiting him up. Flavius raised his arm as he gave way indicating Herminia should be the one to wear the given armour.
Herminia wasn't sure of what Flavius was doing, she just stood still, her eyes went deep with her hands on her heart.
The spectators were marveled, murmuring to each other as the hard drums played in the background.
"He… is not wearing it?... How come?..."
"I can't believe my eyes…. "
"Is it possible for someone from the Caneloveft family to do so?..."
Herminia slowly took a step back without a word, couldn't believed Flavius demonstration.
It has never happened before, a family of the Caneloveft giving the Red-blooded armor to a Cohort.
The hard drums stopped.
"What… W-what is happening? Flavius the Triumphant easily handed over the Red-blood armour to his Cohort. Never has it happened in the history of the previous owners of the EXTERMINATOR. This is truly a sign of the new age coming from the bringer himself!" The announcer expressed.
"Flavius… " Herminia whispered finally a word slipped out from her stiffened mouth, her hazel eyes lowered, her wild brown hair sways then stopped within the short wind that passed over.
"You hear the boy, let his Cohort have it!" Timilehin yelled from his seat.
"Mummy, is it a good idea, allowing a Cohort to personally wield the Red-blood armour?" One of Flavius's siblings whom was a girl asked.
"Yes, my dear. The rules doesn't say one can and the other can't." Flavius's mother answered with a smile on her face.
"Big brother Flavius, is old enough to decide anything he want." Another spoke, a boy having a gap between his front teeth.
"Coooollll… " The youngest child marveled after admiring their big brother's decision while seated on his mother's thighs.
While Great-grandmother only watched silently.
At the southern part inside the special box.
Naois scoffed from his seat as he watched.
"What a huge mistake." Naois stated, crossing his arms while creasing his brows.
"Huh? Why did you say so?" A woman asked, seated beside him.
"The EXTERMINATOR powers is wasted on a girl like her," he scoffed, puts his hands on his face, displaying the cracked precious stones worn on his fingers which was earlier caused by Timilehin's wife. "Their era will be gone before you know it."
The woman turned her eyes around, feeling they were being watched.
"What if you were heard?"
"Seriously, worrying about that? You know nothing… why I said it all out loud was to keep someone from reading my mind."
—
Matthan smirked.
"Clad her." He ordered, the praetorian guards nodded. The one holding the massive breastplate went forward and put it on her body then another as every plates were tightened on her, she stared at Flavius; water begins to gather at the bottom lid of her eyes, she slowly shook her head, knowing what it meant to be a Cohort but this... wielding the Red-blooded armor was too much for her. She looked at the Spectators hoping to see her family but none came for this special day.
Now feeling doubtful about herself, she spoke;
"I… I don't—"
"It's too late for that, I didn't mean to be rude, we think differently, Herminia, just embrace it." Flavius beamed.
After fully putting the Red-blooded armour on her, it appeared too large on her body, lastly the helmet was gently placed on her head.
The praetorian guards moved few steps back knowing what would happen next.
Herminia looked through the wide opening within her helmet, watching every Humanes in the Colosseum staring back at her, close-mouthed.
What she only listened to was her breathy sound within her helmet as she breathes in and out then finally turned her eyes to Flavius, also getting himself suited up while wearing an ordinary armour for the next occasion.
How focus was he during that.
Herminia gave a grateful smile.
Without warning the Red-blooded armor compressed against her body bearing a rupturing sound. The spectators gasped while still on their feet.
She grunted, staggering all over the place then she kneeled as her hands touched the sandy floor, Flavius wanted to move to her but was stopped by Matthan.
Who knows the dangers that might occur, if it goes out of hand.
Herminia bit her lips together as she withstood the pain induced by the Red-blooded armor.
Every Humanes watches how the Red-blooded armor took a new shape on Herminia, fitting her completely in a more sublime look. A long red, narrow-stripped material serving as a cape appeared behind her while she kneeled.
The metal helmet on her head shaped into a crest-topped interweaved plume of long brown hair.
The little space on her face revealed one of her eyes glowing in red.
The metal gloves fingers on both side were sharpened, she folded it with traces of her armoured fingers been scratched on the floor.
Also gaining more height yet within her weight class, she slowly stood up appearing more taller than the praetorian guards around her.
Flavius walked a little closer to her,
"Are you okay?" He asked, calmly.
Inside the northern special box, younger Jared and Abbey were slightly wary, if anything should go wrong they will be the first to face it head-on.
"… yeah. I survived… " Herminia draws her breath in a sharply way as she spoke staring at her armoured body. Wow, this is the power of the Red-blood armour without a Cohort. I could feel it's immense power springing up to every part of my body. She said to herself.
"Thanks goodness." Flavius relieved.
Herminia looked at him as one of her eyes still glowing in red.
Then she waved yet again at the shocked spectators in that spur-of-moment they went wild chanting the Cohort's name at every corner of the Colosseum.
The hard drums continued.
"HERMINIA! HERMINIA! HERMINIA! HERMINIA!"
"Well, it's time for the second stage. You know what to do right?" Matthan questioned, They both nodded. "I will leave you both to it then, godspeed." He exited the scene while the praetorian guards stood many feet away from them, surrounding Flavius and Herminia. They were positioned to make sure everything worked accordingly as planned.
"Are you ready?" Flavius asked smiling.
"Sure bring it on, like how we practiced." Herminia responded.
"Yeah, like how we practiced."
Suddenly both of them did some choreography, raising there arms up and jerking their legs in a way every spectators even Timilehin and his kids were dumbfounded.
Within the spectators, murmuring spouts out yet again.
"Huh, what sort of move is that?... "
"They're actually dancing... "
"Well, I love those leg-work…"
Few of the spectators mimic some of their moves with smiles.
Then Flavius and Herminia bumped fist each other with that sudden act, a surge of red sparks kindled on their armored fist not deflecting them this time. The long red cape on Herminia's surrounded Flavius and her, it swallowed them up completely like a red ball of ribbon then a hot noxious mixture of red particles and gases burst out from the twisting yet moving red ribbon as a thinly crackled and sizzled sound was heard beneath the perplexed scenery…
Each time this certain scene happened at the Colosseum, it never failed to amazed the spectators; always considered to be an awe-inspiring sight to every Humanes present there.
