Finnally the day of General Han birthday party arrived, pearls flashed, Good glittered and diamond shone as tons of affluent people walked into the Han family residence. The nights air was filled with pride, self respect, envy, and all sort out f emotions you could think of as enemies, friends, does and alliances were parked together in the elegantly decorated and spacious ball room, the mansion had been built with a ball room int it so thats why the party was held inside the Han residence
it was titled a birthday party but seemed more like a 'meet and tell', cause the population broke into groups and in this groups differs rumors and conversation broke out at random about anything that came to mind. These people are tagged High class socialists but they behaved no less than common people, wagging their tongues at whatever topic was placed before them not minding if it were right or wrong.
Lu yao yin passed her invitation card to the military men at the door and one of them politely lead her into the building, she smiled graciously to him in return and went on to find someone she was familiar with.
as she walked passed, people gasped and awed in admiration,
"oh my God she looks so gorgeous!"
"I know right? now I understand why people call her the most beautiful CEO"
"yeah it's truly not just a compliment"
those with pure minds had something good to say while some only had envy and so ran their mouths maliciously
"tsk what is this? isn't she too pompous"
"is she trying to out shadow the celebrants family? tsk such a showoff!"
"she's obviously trying to seduce somebody"
Lu yao yin paid no attention to the whispers she heard around her she only walked on and found a quite place to take her seat
Someone came and announced the arrival of the celebrants and his family, everybody stood up expectantly waiting to see the legendary General and his family
From his youth General Han weimin had joined the army and had devoted half his life to service, his achievement were uncountable and even as he was retired he was still known for his prestigious deeds
An Elderly man with grey hair and a rigid face walked forward with a group of people following him, amoungst the people was an elderly woman, she had a pure smile on her face and her expression was as friendly as it could be.
"General Han" some people step forward and greeted,
He hummed as a reply to every greeting it was almost like he wasn't happy about the party as there was practically no smile on his face
"stop scaring them with your rigid face" the elderly woman hit him and three him a contemptuous look.
"you should smile and stop looking like you have facial paralysis, hmph! acting tough"
everyone chuckled to how she reprimanded him, his ice expression and a smile appeared on his face, the love between the two couple could be obviously be felt even in the way they reprimanded each other.
"father quick give a speech before mom reprimands you again" Han peizhe, the first son of General Han said jokingly and everybody chuckled again.
The old man looked reluctant but when he saw his wife stern face he had no options but to let go of his reluctancy, the cold and rigid warlord Han weimin who was totally afraid of nothing was well known to be scared witlessly by his wife Fan meilan
"I am grateful to you all for finding the time to attend my little birthday party" he started "although it was impromptu, most of you still honoured the invitation and for that I'm most grateful...but most of all I'm grateful to my children for organizing this party in respect of me, I'm really honoured to have been blessed with such a wonderful family"
Han weimin had just one wife and his wife had given birth to three children, Han peizhe, Han yufan and Han yuli.
Han peizhe was a famous government official, while Han yufan was part of the military, Han luli had just finish high school and was about entering college.
"enjoy the rest of the evening" he said then walked back to where his family were standing.
everybody went back to their discussion, some went forwards and congratulated General Han, Lu yao yin also went forward to give her greetings
"happy birthday sir" she said softly
"thank you" there were many people surrounding General Han so he couldn't even see who had congratulated him, then his eyes suddenly landed on the gorgeously dressed young lady standing behind the crowd, she stood there patiently with a warm smile on her face neither hurting to flatter his family or having an expectant look
the girl didn't look familiar to him but somehow he felt close to the lady and also a huge amount of gratitude rushed out of his heart, he wasn't sure why but it felt like he knew this young lady.
Lu yao yin waited for the people to clear up a bit before walking to him again "happy birthday sir, I wish you many more years and a healthy life" she bowed politely as she said this
"thank you so much child, what's your name?
"Lu yao yin" she replied
Lu yao yin?, he thought about the name for a moment but still couldn't figure why he felt like he knew her.
"thank you for coming" he spoke and held himself back from asking if they had met before.
Lu yao yin could see the turmoil going on in the old man head, she smiled and calmly went back to her seat
"tsk see the way she's trying to cozy to the old man, she even went to congratulate him when she isn't familiar with the family"
"she's such a brown noser"
Lu yao yin heard two girls discussing as she walked past, she paused and turned to look at them, one shrunk in fright while the other threw her an arrogant look, She recognize the arrogant girl to be a popular actress that was known to be good friends with Lui shenhui.
She saw Lui shenhui walking towards the two girls so she just ignored them and left for her seat.
music began playing and everybody expectantly looked on the dance floor, the celebrants couple were asked to dance and then they elegantly took each hands and twirled on the dance floor, people clapped and chuckled watching the two of them scold each other in between dance. after the couple were through dancing, the floor was open to anyone that wanted to dance.
Han peizhe took the lead with his wife while his brother Han yufan went along with their sister Han yuli, in twos people began making their way to the dance floor
most of the male had their eyes on Lu yao yin but none of them were brave enough to walk towards her, this made the females in the room jealous, cause the guys were not ready to dance with them, some of them had even had to go ask for the dance themselves instead of waiting to be asked
Lu yao yin could see all the stare sent her ways but she didn't seem to mind it, she focused on sipping her glass of champagne. subconsciously she roamed the halls with her eyes searching for Zi yichen, one part of her wished he had arrived, because she knew he would have asked her to dance with him
She was still sulking when she heard people gasp and staring at her, she felt the presence of someone standing at her back, the person gentle tapped her shoulder and then she turned to see who it was, her eyes shot open and an unconscious smirk crept up her lips when she saw who it was
"miss may I have this dance?" the man stretched his hand towards her politely
Everybody anticipated if she would take his hands, cause right behind the handsome man man stood Zi yichen with a dark face. people imagined that the two men were going to break out into a fight, Zi yichen expression darkened every second that that hand was stretched in from of Lu yao yin.
Lu yao yin chuckled inwardly, she couldn't imagine the scene before her, she saw that Zi yichen eyes were pleading for her to say no. she would have blatantly said no if the man asking was just a random person but this handsome young man was no one else but Frosty!
