after searching for about a while she finally found him leaning on a tree at the courtyard, His figure looked so dejected as he stood there so quiet and still, she couldn't even see and spark neither could she perceive it he scent of tobacco, this meant that he didn't smoke so just what had he been doing there standing since all this while.
Lu yao yin slowly made her way towards him, he didn't even notice her presence till she was standing right before him
"Lu yao yin?" he said surprised, he didn't think she would come looking for him.
"what are you doing here all alone?"
"nothing exactly just clearing my head_" he gave her a wry smile
"hmm, it seem I was wrong after all... your mood isn't that bad cause I can't smell any cigarettes"
He chuckled and don't say anything cause how was he supposed to tell her that no matter how he wanted to smoke he couldn't cause he remembered that she had to stay up and look after him the last time he passed out, he didn't want to see her that exhausted again plus she didn't seem to like the fact he smoked because of her
"I'm trying to quit smoking" he defended trying to impress her
"tsk tsk and here I was thinking we could he smoke buddies" Lu yao yin dug out a pack of cigarettes from god knows where and lit one stick. She had 'borrowed' it from someone on her way here,
He chuckled amusedly, he had abstain himself from smoking with the thought that she wouldn't like it, but here she was offering to his smoke-buddy, now he felt kind of stupid. He collected a cigarette from her and lit one
They stood there smoking without saying anything, the atmosphere was light and there was no tension in the air...at least for this moment
"don't get too close to him_if possible stay away from him" Zi yichen said all of a sudden, breaking the silence between them
Lu yao yin knew what he meant but choose to play dumb "who are you taking about?" she asked concentrating on the cigarette between her fingers without even looking at him
"him" he repeated solemnly, He was clearly talking about Jin fengju but so much don't want to say his name through his mouth.
"you would have to be specific cause I have a lot of 'him's in my life, so which do you mean?"
He frowned displeased then through gritted teeth he said "Jin fengju"
She turned and looked at him after he said this, his expression didn't look good which prove just how much he was vexed by the name. seeing him like this made her even more curious, she wondered what had transpired between the two to had made them gnaw at each other necks like this
"what happened between the two of you" she couldn't help but ask
He turned away and didn't give a reply, she thought he wasn't going to say anything
"he took away something I loved" he unexpectedly answered
although he replied, this wasn't much of an answer, it wasn't specific and could only pique Lu yao yin curiosity the more, there were a thousand things that Jin fengju might have taken away, just how was she supposed to pin point which had ignited the hatred. Zi yichen wasn't a petty man so what ever it was that started the fight must have been very grave
she sighed and dropped the issue. They stayed outside for a little while then went back to meet the others.

Lu shenqi just arrived at the Han residence after hours of plastering her face with tons of makeup, she looked beautiful but totally unrecognizable, is you weren't close to her you wouldn't know that she was Lu shenqi.
She stopped at the gate and called the number given to her by her father, before leaving the house she had ignored asking for the person name and only collected his number, well too bad for her cause if she had asked then maybe she would have preferred to stay at home than attend the party with that person.
A young man came outside and walked towards her "are you miss shenqi?" he asked hurriedly
her eyes sparkled when she saw the young man, she thought he was her companion, so she felt kind of delighted "are you my companion?" she asked back with a sexy voice
Disdain flashed through the man eyes but he concealed it and replied her casually, he seemed to be in a hurry too
"no, but my boss is. He asked me to bring you in l, follow me" the young man turned around and started walking into the compound.
Lu shenqi hurriedly followed him almost stumbling as she walked hastily on her 6 inch high heels
As she walked into the room, heads turned in her direction, she was dressed so beautifully, that people couldn't help but marvel, the makeup on her face was perfectly done that no one in the room could recognise that she was the one
"please wait here, my boss would be with you shortly..." the young man directed her to a table, he said a few more things but she wasn't listening, if she wasn't so carried away, she would have found it suspicious that from start to finish the man had not mention his boss name not even once,
she picked a glass of wine from one of the waiters and bashfully sipped from it as she enjoyed the stare from the young men in the room. with her flushed cheeks and soft demeanor, she looked like an innocent and naive lady.
some of the young men in the room began gathering her, trying to start a conversation with her, she blushed and smiled to the compliments greedily taken in everything
this was the scene Lu yao yin met when she walked back into the room, she saw a beautiful girl surrounded by young men, the girl smiled and didn't say much but her encouraging smile made those around her to keep talking. Lu yao yin was immediately able to tell that it was Lu shenqi, she was a master of disguise do how could Lu shenqi flimsy makeup be able to receive her
"isn't that your sister?" Zi yichen whispered into her ear, she turned and looked at him surprised,
he could tell Lu shenqi real identity with just one look, although Lu shenqi disguise wasn't on an expert level it would still be quite impossible for a normal person to be able to dictate it, it only meant Zi yichen wasn't as simple as he presented himself
"what it's quite easy to tell when you look at her eyes" He defended himself when he saw her suspicious look, but his words only made it complicated
"you've only met her once but you remember how her eyes look" she nodded her head knowingly then looked at him and said "that very impressive"
He avoided her eyes and don't give a reply, Lu yao yin ignored his guilty look and stared back at Lu shenqi. coincidentally Lu shenqi happened to be sitting just next to her, she knee Lu shenqi very well so she knew, going back to her seat would be a hell of a drama! but she herself wasn't going to avoid Lu shenqi, she wanted to see just what her dearest sister would try to do.
Slowly she began walking to her seat totally paying no attention to Lu shenqi.
Lu shenqi was still laughing with the people around her when she suddenly noticed Lu yao yin walking towards her, she didn't know Lu yao yin seat was next to hers so she thought Lu yao yin had also come to speak to her. her head began brewing all sort of plan to defame Lu yao yin, nobody knew she was the one so they would all believe her instead of Lu yao yin. especially now that she was like a white lotus that couldn't possibly hurt a fly,
Finally a plan popped into her head, it was a perfect plan that had no flaws or so she thought, she believed that as far as she played it out well, she would end up making Lu yao yin to lose face and also saint her reputation a bit, to Lu shenqi her Trump card was that no one knew who she really was not even Lu yao yin
A childish elation appeared on her face and she excused herself, like an innocent child that found its favourite candy she hurried off towards Lu yao yin.
