Shirayukihime and Inaba looked at the scene before them. A crying vampire in a black Victorian dress tied to a chair with her arms restraint and a devil who smiled charmingly at his handy work as he took a seat.
"You're merciless..." Akatsuki with his foot on the table leans his chair back as he placed his arms behind the back of his head.
"You're a real devil..." Both Shirayukihime and Inaba nodded in agreement.
"Hahahaha! I have to make sure my new pe-...I mean servant doesn't rat me out right?" He pats his new servant's head.
"You were just about to call her a pet..." "Details, details." Akatsuki shrugs it off as he paid no heed to it.
"Release me you vermin!" The pet in question yells out defiantly at Akatsuki. Strangely enough this gave Shirayukihime a sense of Deja vu... Recalling those memories now only gave her an upset stomach... Thus she refrained from doing so as she looked at the vampire, Theia Alucard Vermilion Dracular with pitying eyes of sympathy. "My condolences to you miss..." Those lines made it sound like she was going to be executed before a fire...
"You, the human give me your request and release me already!" "Nothing really comes to mind." Her request falls on deaf's ears... It was quite a pitying sight watching the vampire girl who was like a doll moisten her eyes. Inaba could only question in her mind what have I done? She was the one who had called the boy who was the number one problem child of his respective world here to Eden.
"Ugh to be in a Nameless Circle..." "I've been curious but why are we called a Nameless Circle?" "Ah..." Come to think of it Inaba almost never told Akatsuki why. She may as well say it now. It was because their Circle lacked an Emblem, as such they did not possess a name either, thus they are called Nameless. In Eden Nameless Circles have it the hardest. They were looked down upon as inferior, so most Circles when they have lost their Emblem would start anew instead of going after revival.
"What that's it?" "Strictly speaking our Circle used to be on the upper echelons of Eden." But now they are in the lowest of the lowest echelons of Eden, the Lower Garden. To advance up a Garden requires the Circle meet some achievements. Each Garden is ranked from one to five.
With Nameless being at Lower Garden rank 1...
"Ah screw this! Forget it!" Recalling memories of the past defeat only made the library gloomier than it already is.
"So how much is this vampire(lol) worth in combat?" "I feel like I've just been insulted!" "Well..." Vampires are actually members of the upper echelons. It was actually considered rare to see them appear in the Lower Gardens. Their bloodlines trace back quite far into Eden's history as they are renowned as the most powerful sorcerers with an immoral body of high speed regeneration.
"So she's quite powerful?" As if not believing in the facts Akatsuki points at Theia. Winning against this vampire so easily made it look like Theia wasn't worth much.
"Yes I believe so, as they are a highborn of Eden." "Eh...but this one is a highborn of Eden(lol)." "Th-This human fifth...!" "Quite a sharp tongue as well." "Aren't we forgetting something here?" Shirayukihime brought the topic back on track as she interrupts Akatsuki's teasing fun feeling sorry for Theia just a slight bit. But deep down she realized something that's of utmost importance with the arrival of a new servant. She was no longer the lowest in rank amongst the players of War Games in Nameless!
"Aren't you looking a bit smug?" "Ufufufu well by whatever do you mean?" Back on topic the real reason why all the core members of Nameless decided to gather is because of the rumor called "Spirit Away." Though that wasn't the proper name to describe it but they decided to settle with it for now. Now that the main culprit behind this mess is caught they had to give her a verdict.
"You've scared a lot of our hardworking children..." "...Hmph." Without a shred of guilt Theia pouts and turns her head away cutely. This action probably got her out of many trouble with the adults that dealt with her in the past. But against Akatsuki *Chop* He chopped down on her head harshly.
"Ow!" With tears in her eyes Theia attempted to hold her head, but with her arms restraint she couldn't possibly do that. This was the first time she's been hit in her life. It hurt beyond description.
Could she maybe sue Akatsuki for trauma inducing pains?
"Uuu..." Looking into the golden eyes of the monster next to her she shed away that stupid idea.
"*Sigh*" Inaba sighs not knowing what to do even though she was the Nameless's leader.
"Akatsuki-san since you caught her maybe..." "No anything but that!" Demon Lords are idols of fear in Eden on equal standing to the Gods. Asking one to leave then come back is asking for the impossible... Only an idiot would say something like that.
"Ugh..." Shirayukihime felt like the stupidity of this Circle has rubbed off on her now as well.
"Well let's go see what this Demon Lord wants." Akatsuki got off his seat and grabbed the chair that Theia sat on along with him to the meeting.
"He's not even..." Reluctantly Inaba and Shirayukihime followed after Akatsuki who was smiling fearlessly.
"If he attacks us on sight what do we do?" "I say we strike first." As this was the first time Akatsuki will be meeting a Demon Lord he was rather excited.
