Chapter hundred and ninety nine
"He won't try anything, I promise. Just a word with him"
"Are you sure?" Jason asked his wife
"Yes" she answered him.
Jason turned to James and moved closer to him.
"If you lay your hands on her, I will strangle you" he said to his father and left.
McKenna gave James the hanky she was holding to wipe his face.
"I will say my piece of mind" she moved closer to James who was sitting on the bed trying to catch his breath.
"Are you okay?" she asked her father in law.
"Yes, thank you for stopping him" James said and coughed to clear his throat.
"You are welcome. My name is McKenna Oma" she looked at Jason but he wasn't there and added "Ekoh-Yagazie or just Yagazie depending on Jason's preference. I am your daughter-in-law and I need you to listen carefully"
McKenna saw that James thought of her as an ally because she came to his rescue. And she wanted to correct that notion.
