"Let's cut to the chase. You don't have much time left to live."

Those were the last words Led wanted to hear as soon as he opened his eyes. It seemed to him as if all the colors around him faded away & all he could see was black & white.

He got out of the hospital bed he was lying on for the past two weeks since the time his disease first hit him.

The doctors advised him not to do so & tried holding him off but he was too lost in his own thoughts.

He took off his oxygen mask, put on his slippers & started going towards the terrace.

He took a water bottle on the way and tried drinking it but vomited all of it on the stairs.

He crushed it and screamed in frustration while being on all fours. A scream in which one could feel anger and sadness. He pulled himself up while holding the railings of the steps from both of his hands and continued his journey.

"What have I done wrong?", he thought to himself.

"All I wanted was peace. I did not do anything wrong. I wanted a life and this is what you gave me. A curse!", he screamed while looking up at the sky when he reached the terrace.

He stood up on the balcony railing.

It was a rainy day.

A weather that perfectly matched the current life condition for him.

He took a moment to look back into his life. All he could think of was sadness, anger and hatred.

Without another thought, he jumped off.

Nothing happened. He stopped as soon as he jumped.

"Why am I not falling?", he thought with his eyes closed.

And the reason for that, he saw as soon as he looked up, was a girl with blue hair. holding his hand firmly trying to save a stranger while risking her own life.

That was his first encounter with the girl who changed his life.
