It's another day and I still can't believe that Javeon was THAT child. He still hugged me huh. What an asshole. He thinks I don't know? Oh, I know everything.

It was the first day of school and now, the class' already finish. Javeon also told me his name and said he would add me on IG. I'm on my way home when suddenly, I heard my phone ring.
~Jeremiah Calling...~
[Yow! Melantha!] Jeremiah, my cousin. We're close friends since we were kids. We haven't talk in a while since he's in 11th grade now and is busy so I'm kinda curious why did he call.
"Cuzzz!! It's been so long! How are you? W-w-wait, why'd you call though?"
[Oh, well I have something important to tell you.] Important huh?
"Hmm? Yeah? What is it?"
[You know, I'm friends with Ian right? Now, Ian is friends with Javeon...]
"Hmmmm, my study partner. Yeah, so?"
[Well, Ian, he said that.. Wait how do I start, uhmm..] I just kept quiet and listened. [Ian said that he's going to bet his PS5 if we make our Study Partner fall in love with us faster than him, and since we got boys as our partners, Simon and I are out of the game. Javeon and Ian are the only one left.]
"There's no way Javeon would do that to me for just a Play Station. They're basically rich."
[That's the problem. Ian didn't bet his PS5 on Javeon. He bet to buy the whole company Javeon's family owns when he loses.]
I just kept quiet, trying to process all the information. So Javeon's about to play with me huh?! Well then, let's play Javeon.

Oh, he's calling again. [Xeraaaaa Babyyyy]
"Hmmmm?"
[Uhhh it's nothi-] My mother suddenly opened the door.
"Bye, my mother's here."
[Oh, oka-] I hang up.
My mom sat beside me on my bed. "Sweetie, are you excited for tomorrow?"
"Huh?! What's with tomorrow?"
"Tsk tsk, Melantha Xera. It's the intramurals!" Intramurals. Also known as "intrams". It's where the school spends the whole week woth no classes but just with sport. The Junior and Senior highschools will participate this coming week. We will be divided into four groups—Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green. Whichever team gets the most added points from all the games will win.
"I don't want to attend but I have no choice. I'm the volleyball captain, I'll be guiding the team tomorrow." She stroked her hand on my hair and just went out the room.
I called Javeon since I'm bored.
"Love!"
[Yes, Loveee?]
"Let's check the announcement of teams later together!"
[Hmmm, okay! I'll call you at 7.]
"Okay byeee!"
Time passed. I'm waiting for 7pm because the school's about to post the list of teams on our Facebook group.

"What's your team?!"
[Let's say it at the same time. One.. Two.. Three!]
[Green!] "Red!"
[Ohh..] He sighed.
"It's okayyy! We'll still see each other tomorrow! Bye, I'm going to sleep."
[Okayyy! I love you!] No, you don't.
"Hmm bye." I hang up and turned my phone off. I did my morning routine and slept.
JAVEON'S P.O.V.
It's the morning! Intrams! I put my green shirt on, my pants, and sneakers. I also packed my Jersey since I'll be participating Basketball. I'm not a varsity but I still know how to play.
Later on, We all gathered in the covered court and made a line by team; Xera's so far away huhuhu— Whatever. We're all eating just in one area! It's hot here! I was eating quietly when suddenly, I felt cold. Someone just spilled water on me. I don't even know him!
"Loser!" What? What's wrong with this guy? Who the heck is this? I took off my glasses and wiped my face, still looking at that guy and he's just standing in front of me.
Xera suddenly got my attention. She's walking fast towards the guy and she suddenly pushed him by the shoulder.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Xera shouted.
"X-Xera- I- I didn't know you were here-"
"You fucking bully!" My jaw dropped when she suddenly punched the guy in the face! I quickly went over Xera and held her shoulders.
"Hey, Hey it's okay. It's just water!" I tried to stop her but she just pushed me.
"Xera, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." The guy even kneeled in front of her and cried. "Please come back to me!"
"You Psycho!" Xera was about to walk away when suddenly, Ms. Clavienta—The President crossed her path.
"What happened Melantha?" She asked seriously.
Xera messed her hair up and pointed her finger at the guy. "That! That happened!" Xera shouted and walked out.
Ms. Clavienta walked towards the guy before glancing at me. "You." She pointed at me so I walked to her. "What happened?"
I said it all. From how he spilled water on me to how Xera punched him. Her Mom—Ms.Clavienta just chuckled. She chuckled!
She pulled the guy from the back of its colar so it would stand up. "Oh, look at you Zwayne!" She even fixed that guy's necktie. "Why don't you just stop chasing my Daughter?"
"But ma'am I-"
"Pfft! You know she hates you!" She said laughing.
"No, she doesn't!" Ms. Clavienta looked at him from head to toe and smirked.
"Doesn't this explain it?" The guy just looked down and Ms. Clavienta walked him outside the court. After they went off, I looked for Cera and luckily, I saw her at the mini forest.
"Xera." I called but she didn't respond. I looked at her and saw that she was staring at the paper she's holding. "What's that?"
She just glanced at me and has put the paper in her pocket. "You don't care." She looked at me coldly and tears started to fall from her beautiful eyes.
"Of course I care." I smiled at her and wiped her tears with my thumb.
"You liar." I was about to ask what she's talking about but she spoke again. "I know the bet all this time." Her tears fell again.
"I'm sorry, Xera. It's just that— *sigh* But I still care about you okay?"
"Just don't fucking pretend." She said wiping her tears with the back of her hand. "I helped you protect your company so just stop this okay?! Before I actually fall for you." She stood up and faced her back at me.
I grabbed her wrist casing her to stop and look at me again. I messed my hair up with my other hand while the other is still holding her.
I looked at her in the eyes. "Aren't you falling for me yet?"
