But alas as the hours wore on into the night and the sun began to blink yet again, the Warlord raged, turning to his apprentice and Cimmerian Moff, eyes burning. By now they had both dropped to their knees in the sand. It was obvious they had been duped, Agba was nowhere to be found; certainly one or both of them were soon to suffer the consequences. Marca leaned down and grabbed Rage first in a chokehold. Eyes wild he attempted to plead his case but Marca was having none of it. Ciylo never looked up even as he heard Rages windpipe break. Tossing his lifeless body to the side, Rajnos turned to Ciylo.
"As for you my apprentice," he spat, "when Evil returns, bow to her you shall, for she returns your Grand Moff."
With that he screamed at his Disciples, "Return to your ships, move them back into orbit now!!" In a fluid moment, the army turned and began to make their way back to the ships. Rajnos stalked off behind them, leaving his demoted apprentice still kneeling in the sand.
Ciylo finally let go of the breath he had been holding since his knees had hit the sand. Cursing to himself as he stood, but thankful to still be breathing, he turned to follow the Warlord and the army. He took off his mask as he moved and shoved the dark wet hair out of his face and off his forehead with a gloved hand feeling the cool morning hit his hot skin. As he walked past Rage's lifeless body, he hesitated, looking around. All the disciples and the Warlord were moving away from him back towards the ships. His teeth began to ache as he stared at the dead body. He took a few steps away but the need for a blood feeding had him turned around and on his knees in a second. He grabbed Rage's body ravenously as his fangs descended from his upper jaw and leaning down he ripped open the lifeless throat and drank what was left in heavy gulps. Standing a few moments later, sated, he leaned down again while licking the blood off his fangs and grabbed the disciples sabre and clipped it next to his own on his belt. He boarded the ship a few hours later and immediately went to his quarters.
