Everyone stood around Paulina as the locator read her soul color. With it reading the color red it meant that she had one of the rarest types of abilities but it's nearly impossible to tell what it is unless it manifests. As they surrounded her looking on waiting to see if something was going to manifest. She began glowing gold with a crown of flowers hovering above her head. Once the crown formed reality as they knew was altered, they were no longer inside the headquarters.
This place they had been pulled to was like a royal hall. A throne sat at one end of a long room with a long red carpet that had golden trimming. Gothic style stained glass windows filled the upper part of the hall. The group finally noticed two women standing before the throne with spears in hand kneeling. The group approached the two of them.
"My Queen!" They said as Paulina approached
"Queen?" She replied
"Ohhh this makes sense now… Your Red ability is manifestation, you're able to create your own alternative realm, almost like a minor goddess I would suppose. This is my first time seeing and experiencing it." Dimitri explained
"So basically she's a Queen or even a goddess inside of this realm?" Cindy asked
Dimitri nodded.
"My own realm? Interesting." Paulina mumbled to herself
"You can create whatever comes to mind inside this place and if you master this ability you'll be able to merge things into reality but not permanently." Dimitri informed her
Paulina reached for the crown above her head and pulled it down. The realm they were in vanished and they all now stood back in the room where they were before. "So how would I go about summoning my realm?"
"I would assume it's like manifesting a thought into reality. Think about it, think about your crown and then boom, you're there." Steph said
Paulina stood imagining the crown appearing on her head and it did once again, but she quickly grabbed the crown to stop it from changing realms. Manifestation is considered a red type because it can be dangerous if in the wrong hands, making criminal activity seemingly unstoppable. Murder would happen in an instant and no one would even see the people, they could be pulled into the realm killed and the user could imagine the body being gone. Luckily there are very few users of this ability and most don't bother with either side of the spectrum good nor evil. Paulina would become the first user to operate a realm in combat scenarios.
"The reapers you spoke of beforehand are they tied to the vampire queen?" Paulina aske Dimitri
"They could or couldn't be, we have no idea who she is anymore. We've never seen this new one." He replied
Paulina stood contemplating what they should do.
"Headmaster you should put on tech hunters clothes. I have a few other uniforms that should fit you." Cindy mentioned
Paulina nodded. "I'll get changed right away and when I do I believe I have an idea for our first move. Also I want to tell you all my main purpose for serving Artemis."
Paulina followed Cindy out of the room to the elevator then to Cindy's room. Cindy handed her some clothes that looked like they had digital waves flowing through them. A dark blue hooded jacket with the Hunters symbol on the left sleeve and black cargo military style pants. "These should be fine." Said Cindy as she continued looking through what else she had. "Oh and take a pair of these." She said while handing her gloves with the index fingers cut off at the knuckle. Golden lights lit up on them as Paulina put the gloves on.
"The tech in the clothing keeps track of everything from your vitals to linking to your mental state, almost capable of reading your mind and reacting to your questions or needs."
Paulina looked at the clothes she now had on watching the golden lights flowing through them.
"I have spare soul conductors I've never linked to. If you want them, they're handguns."
"Yeah sure Idk what a conductor is but I'll take them. Also I've never shot handguns."
Cindy palmed her face. "You have got to be kidding me. Well it will come to you once you link with them just hold them and imagine flowing into them."
Paulina held both guns in her hands and imagined her aura flowing into the weapons. The trimming on the handguns began to glow gold with her realms aura.
"You're linked." Cindy said smiling
"Thank you for the stuff." Paulina said smiling back
"Now let's head back to the others, I have a plan."
Paulina and Cindy headed back to the group that was still in the AI's office. She asked the group to pay attention.
"Now where is the biggest known reaper group?" Paulina asked
"That would be Reign in the southern district, why?"
"That's where we're going to find information on the vampire queen. Once I take out the vampire queen I can get Artemis to bring my friend back who died. That's why I am here and that's what Artemis told me before she pulled me to this world."
All of them nodded.
"Alright then, Let's do this and get your friend back then. You're our headmaster where you go we go. Let's get geared up everyone." Dimitri said
Paulina walked toward the window to look out, not much higher than your average house from ground level she just watched cars passing by.
"I'm going to bring you back Emms."
She began getting a nervous feeling in her stomach. That was when Artemis began to speak to her. "I see you are already pursuing the reapers, good. If you can take out their leader that's in that district it would be a major blow to them as a whole."
"Yes I agree." Paulina replied
"Find them, be rid of them, and exterminate that vampire queen."
